Another "which class should I pick?" thread.

I know these threads are kind of annoying, due to the amount. But I really can't pick myself, and I need your input. I've been over this quite a few times, and I've come to the conclusion that there is no perfect class for me, but I'd like the next best thing.
Here is my list of preferences in order of importance.
Fun
measured with abilities. I want fun abilities, especially in PvP.
Fun
measured with rotations. I'd like a class that's not directly straight-forward, I'd like to be able to become a
good
player.
PvP viability
-- what I mean by this is stuff like the charge-jump-bug, or retribution paladin vs a dispeller. This also includes PvP survivability.
Questing
- I want to have fun questing, but more importantly, I'd like to be able to quest while in BG-queues and what-not. This means
no healers
.
Achievements
- I'd like to be able to do certain achievements myself. For some stuff I can get some help with one of the Guildie-tanks, but not with stuff like farming mounts.
I appreciate any input.

A Warlock would be a good choice. It's always a good laugh watching the DoT's and it's difficult to become a really good Warlock, so the challenge is there.
Yeah, when I briefly played a warlock and did some BGs, I loved it when I would apply DoT's on someone, then they would kill me, and then they would die from my DoT's.

/sigh Start a toon, level to 20, start a new one, level to 20, rinse and repeat till you've done that 10 times and figure out from there which one you want the most.

Completely subjective, and it differs even on the same person. For example, I had fun as an Affliction Warlock DoT-ing enemies, and even when I die, my corpse will be mocking them. "You will join me in 3 ticks", it will say. Now as a Hunter, I
love
it when I get advance warning against those pesky Rogues and Kitties.

Elemental Shaman. When you get
Lava Surge
, I feel like I'm playing the piano with my keyboard.

All classes are PvP viable.

Again, all classes.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but if what you're trying to say is "I want to solo some things sometimes", you might want to pick up one of the heavy-armor tanking classes (e.g., Protection Paladin/Warrior). Alternatively, I've soloed some of the group quests by using Hunters and Moonkins (the key is to let your pets get most of the attention)

Or if you really can't be bothered to think for yourself take Blizzards own
Personality Test.
and roll whatever class / combo it comes up with.
That Personality Tester is quite error-prone. I tried my hardest to have it result in a shaman but I turned out as a druid. Some of the questions are too generic to figure out what class it will lead you too.

I tried to get rogue and got druid first time
I think the answers vary slightly, or I wasn't reading them properly.

Isn't that kind of the point of a personality test? To test your personality not your ability to decipher what you want your personality to be?
After three+ years of playing WoW, playing most classes & specs and reading lore novels, I thought I would be able to pick the questions to lead to my desired class. It ended up on my Facebook page, and was the wrong class. There was part of the test about 'running along the treetops chasing bad-guys'. I thought that was hunter-like, but it wasn't.

Wow, the Personality Test's questions are actually quite funny.
And I'm supposed to roll a Shaman, apparently. Whoops...
