I was playing around on femaledwarf.com and I am coming out with higher dps via a cunning pet than a ferocity one. At first I though I must have forgotton to take into account a buff, so I tried it with a wasp and a monkey--neither of whom provide raid buffs. I got the same result. I am consistently getting a dps increase of 124.05 when using a cunning pet over a ferocity one. Am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else getting the same numbers?

Seriously lol, help a huntress out! The only thing i can think of is I cant tell femaledwarf that I am timing CoW with RF? Or cunning really is better. Does it depend on gear?

I wasnt trying to be crazy, i saw it had been read something like 20+ times and no post, I didnt want people to think that I was crazy.
So then, I guess if I ever need the armor debuff I should go get a serpent instead of a raptor

So, what would you consider proper/strategic use of CoW and RoR? I've never really considered that my dragonhawk could be more useful than my many cats as SV. This is something I'm eager to play with.
Any recommended pet specs you could link, please?

Thanks, Cialbi. I appreciate the links... I missed your link in the sticky thread because the link still says 4.0.3a so I just automatically assumed... :)
So, I can assume then that even with the recent SV nerf that nothing should change with the pet spec then. Good to know. :)

I had done tests on these and unfortunately he cunnings ability to abuse claw at high focus does not make up for the lack of pure DPS talents

As for properly using CotW and RoR, it's about not wasting the CD more than anything. Blowing CotW when another temporary haste CD is active (Hero/BL or RF) generally isn't a good idea. With RoR, there's a bit more flexibility.
Call of the Wild
is an AP buff, not haste. It IS a good idea to stack AP/Agility buffs with haste buffs.
