VP purchase for Holy paladin

Hi,
First of all,
this
is me. Our guild was running low on healers so I recently switched from Protection to Holy and I must admit that I love it. Gearwise, I am a bit behind, but I haven't had any problems yet on the three fights I've done - Magmaw, Omnotron and Argaloth.
So, back to the question. I have enough VPs for my first purchase, and I don't know what to get.
One option is to go for an upgrade to my worst items: trinket or boots. This is what I had in mind so far:
Core of Ripeness
or
Eternal Pathfinders
.
I'm leaning towards the trinket myself.
I'm not too fond of T11, except maybe the legs. The chest I have is better than the T11 one, IMO. I plan to get
these
instead of the T11 gloves.
So, T11 legs, trinket or boots?
Also, any other tips are welcome.

Don't spend VP on the boots; buy them. I offered less than 10k for mine and got them immediately.
I think that's like 3 Chaos Orbs worth of crafted epic shields for most servers.
Core of Ripeness is one of the lower ranked trinkets, but if you need an Intellect trinket fast it's the best choice. I'd suggest getting onto replacing your items that aren't 346 yet.
Also, spend some JP on the plate healing helm. It has a meta socket and that's a huge bonus over what you're currently using.

Thanks for the reply.
Haven't thought about buying the boots, to be honest. :)
Yeah, the helm is on the JP shopping list, as well as replacing the 325/333 items I have left.

Most of the Valor items (T11 included) are trash.
The trinket is pretty good pre-raid (it's got everything you want on it), and the relic is fantastic even in raiding.
I've bought both of those and am now using VP to try to sell valor points, personally. I was geared enough to heal competently in blues + rep epics, and now that I'm in a bunch of spirit/haste raid drops I'm not going to waste VP on mastery items.

I think I'm gonna go for the trinket. I think it's the best upgrade for my existing gear. Also 325 to 359 is quite an improvement.
As for the relic, I thing the one I have now is a bit better because of the haste. There is a small INT and SPI loss.
Like I said above, I'm new to Holy and just starting to get the hang of it.
Thanks for the replies.

The
Relic of Eonar
relic might be BIS in slot (or penultimate) and its "bargain priced".
Core of Ripeness
is a solid "starting to raid" item to buy if they are weak on their trinkets.
Going for T11 parts is kind of an "all or nothing" where it only makes sense to get them all for the 4 piece bonus. I've noticed it seems to break down like this: If you happen to luck into "free" parts from Argoloth then you will probably want to go the rest. If not, pick up raid drops as they come and buy the parts only when you get close to the cap and have nothing else to upgrade.

The original question post is a reflection on the mistake I feel Blizzard made with the badge setup. The stuff offered by the vendor for Valor like T11 isn't "junk" but it is expensive compared to raid drops and therefore poor choice for active raiders to use but steeply expensive for casual raiders.
The silver lining here is for hybrids classes. A serious raider can easily build up a "raid ready" secondary set with without sacrificing main set gear. But the entire thing feels off where you don't need Justice gear to start Normal Raiding nor do you need Valor gear to start Heroic Raiding.

It's my first time at the level cap and raiding, so I can't really comment on the difficulty of it all. It did indeed feel very odd when we got our first kill. I was main tank healing in ilvl 329 wearing a couple of greens. Maybe it's the design of the class... Not that I'm complaining... :)
