Guide for basic PvE arms warrior info

Hi folks,
I noticed there isn't much out there on Arms warrior info at the moment. I've written a very basic guide covering stats, rotation, glyphs and spec which you can find at MMO Melting Pot (link straight to the guide
here
).
Given there's not much info out there I've written the guide using bits and pieces of knowledge from across the net. I believe it's accurate but if you think something in it is wrong then please say what and why, so I can correct it.
Looking forward to reading more discussion about arms. In the meantime I hope the guide's useful.

just looking at the stat point you are missing something Stats:
Hit > Expertise > Strength > Mastery > Critical Strike Rating > Haste
You need 8% hit = 906 hit rating. You also need 26 Expertise.
Reforge haste to hit until capped, then to crit until 35%, then mastery
Mastery Rating becomes more important than Critical Strike Rating when you reach 35% Critical Strike.
Gem for strength or critical strike rating.
You will get the just of it after reading the entire post, but it would be easier if you clarify it better as:
hit>expertise>strength>crit to 35%>mastery>crit>haste
That is of course if 35% crit chance is even possible.
Stacking crit to 35% while maintaining strength hybrid gems is quite hard, if even possible at the current or even the next upcoming tiers, if you want to keep hit and expertise cap. I roughly have 24% crit as fury and thats counting the extra crit from gained by rampage, and my hit is lower then what a arms warrior needs due to the fact fury also gains extra hit by default.
so the stats would be hardcap hit>softcap expertise>str>crit>mastery>haste
Though from what i remember mastery and crit was pretty close pre patch, but it might have changed a more in favor of crit now when you want to use slam a bit more and it has less crit chance then talented hs used to have.
And for glyphs, with the buff to slam, wouldn't slam glyph be to prefer over BS?

Masti, thanks for the feedback. Nice catch on the stats and after looking at slam I think you're dead right there too. I've made both those changes.

thanks for posting a guide, i'm happy to see arms getting more discussion these days. however, arms has changed a lot recently, and i noticed a few things in your guide i'd disagree with:
1) Use Colossus Smash and Overpower whenever they cooldown/proc.
no, you never use CS when the debuff is already up
2) *Use Heroic strike instead of slam if you have 60+ rage
HS and slam are not related - HS is still off the GCD, so it doesn't need to affect your rotation. also, you don't want to skip a higher damage/lower rage cost ability (slam) for a lower damage/higher rage cost one (HS). simply set a rage threshold to use HS, but under no circumstance would you HS at the cost of another ability.
3) no mention of battle trance? deadly calm?
4) Multi target: Rend > Thunderclap > Sweeping Strikes > Bladestorm > Thunderclap
don't waste SS on a bladestorm. also, using BS that early in an AoE pull is only going to get you dead.
5) Gem for strength or critical strike rating
gem for strength, always. using a str/crit hybrid is ok for yellow sockets with non-haste bonus, but never gem for straight crit. str/hit for blues.
6) Major: Glyph of Heroic Throw — Glyph of Colossus Smash — Glyph of Sweeping Strikes
glyph of cleaving has it's place also
7) minor glyphs? how about berserker rage?
look about 2 posts down, and i laid out the basics for arms in another thread.

Updated for 4.1.
As always, open to suggestions for improvements/clarifications/corrections. Please leave them either here or on the thread itself (I'm more likely to see the latter :))
@marklartank - thanks for the feedback. Some of it I've taken on board and altered, some of it is beyond the scope of the article. If you've also got an arms guide on here, then link it and I'll add it to my further reading links as a more in-depth guide.
