Speaking as "the comic book guy" I suppose I'm obligated to...
Just because we don't have one.
Even though I don't read DC comics that often, one of my favorite arcs recently is
The Return of Bruce Wayne
. I especially loved the
art
.
I've also got over a Terabyte of digital comics, so you can pretty much ask me anything :P

My favorite comics:
Pearls Before Swine, mainly for Rat, even if he's horribly depressing.
Dilbert. The old ones, before getting too technical and reusing jokes, were some of my favorite comic strips of all time.
Garfield. My first comic.
Foxtrot. I really understand he nerd humor, especially Jason. The whole family acts like a real family, even if they have their distinct personalities. Currently my favorite.
DLC HECK YES
Dudley's Dungeon
for all you Nethack fans.
I've also liked Bleeker the Robotic Dog (even if nobody's heard of it. I kind of enjoy it)
The Argyle Sweater, a farside ripoff that's pretty funny
and The Far Side of course.

The Killing Joke was great.
As was
Arkahm Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth
.
And I greatly enjoyed the graphic novel adaptation of I Am Legend.

My Lego magazine subscription used to come with a Bionicle comic, but my little brother lost the re-subscription form and I never read them again.
That's the extent of my comic book everything.

I loved Blackest Night; far superior to the Dark Reign that was going on in Marvel at the same time...though, Siege was quite good, as were both of the Annhilation Sagas and Reign of Kings, and the new one with the 'universe full of life' that's threatening to eat the main Marvel universe.
Outside of the big two: Walking Dead is the best Zombie comic I have ever come across, even beating out Deadworld. I'm still a fan of the Archie Sonic comics. Unfortunately, can't really call Wildstorm it's own company anymore heh; but the Authority and WildCATS are still two of my favorites from that universe as well.

OMG! I remember those =D
Also, Skree, you reminded me. I loved the graphic novel of the Hobbit.

Oh, I'm also a fan of the recent
Scott Orson Card series of graphic novels

QFT.
Did I mention I still have a poster of Kopaka that came with him (my first Bionicle btw) tacked to my door?

I pretty much stopped playing with Legos the year after the first generation of Bionicles came out. I don't even think they had a comic series at that point, but my brother was really into them for the longest time. Had every figure from every set and pretty much every comic/movie/book he could find.

Well, if we count graphic novels as comics, I guess I really liked the Bone series.
I could never understand the fact that why there were so many DC universes. I mean, does there HAVE to be like 20 different universes all with slight variations to each superhero. If I remember correctly, wasn't there a universe where Obama was Superman, and another where everyone was a zombie? There's like 6 different Spiderman's, and was there not also multiple Flash's on multiple earths?

Your mixing up Marvel and DC there......

Well, if we count graphic novels as comics...
"Comic" narrative is just literary medium. Comic books, graphics novels, and comic scrips all use that medium.

Both Marvel and DC employ multiverses so that they don't have to stick to a single timeline or even strict characters.
For DC, most of the Silver-Age took place on Earth-One, while Golden-Age DC was on Earth-Two. The biggest event in the multiverse that brought all this to the forefront was the
Crisis on Infinite Earths
. But as you can see, there are a
whole bunch
of documented worlds in the DC multiverse, even
one
for Marvel/DC crossover.
Marvel also employs
a multiverse,
and you'll see a lot more complete arcs taking place on alternate earths from them. The base world in Marvel is Earth-616. Oh, and the zombies are from Marvel:
World-2149
.

Marvel and DC are two separate publishing companies that see very little overlap.

(And in case anyone hadn't noticed yet, I'm just as protective of my comics as I am of my philosophy.)

Speaking as "the comic book guy" I suppose I'm obligated to...
lol'd.
As for comics, I haven't really gotten into them but I would read some of my friend's.
The last one I read was the Wheel of Time: New Spring. ( I made damn sure that I read this one because my friend dragged me all over town trying to find the most recent issue)
I've read a bit of Ender's Game but the one I really enjoyed was Kingdom Come. My God... The art...
I've wanted to read... I think it was called... "The Dark Cowl" where Batman has died and everyone is fighting for it.
And House of M, I haven't read that one yet but I do love me X-Men.
Team Gambit pwns Team Jacob any day.
