First off I hate PvP with a passion. However as a dwarf hunter having just hit 85 the arena gun is BiS until heroic raids. Alright I tell myself I can win 5 games a week for 3 weeks. I just hit 85 yesterday so I have no PvP gear and not much PvE gear.
What do you think would be the best way to get these 15 wins?
I was thinking about mooching the Aimed Shot buff to get my wins in before Tuesday with a spec like
this
.
Should I grind BGs for some PvP gear? Can I eek out the 15 wins without it?
How would you go about getting 15 wins as someone who is bad at PvP and not geared?

You have any friends that are Arena beasts, can essentially solo the 2v2 teams? If you do and they are willing to help, perhaps they can carry you to 15 wins.
If not maybe you can pay one of those folks that spam the AH selling ratings for Arenas. Otherwise you prob don't have the gear or experience to compete well in Arenas and those 15 games will take a very long time.
If you can run heroics and get some PvE gear maybe you can stand a chance. Also Sunday or Monday night is the best to run it since a lot of other people are running it just for points. You might get lucky.

Roll in a 3s team if you want to be carried, but if you want to make your team's life abit easier.
Several things to improve your PvP.
- Don't, I repeat,
DON'T
use your keyboards to turn. Use mouse turning and kite the @#$% out of anything you see with jump-shot. Jump > Use mouse to spin around for an auto-shot & a insta-cast shot > Spin back to direction you were > Rinse & Repeat till you are either dead or your target is dead.
- Jump Disengage? Same as above, only thing is that you need to be abit precise, some practice will do. Spin, aim at wherever you want to get to real fast, disengage, profit.
- Gearwise - Imperative you have an insignia or a medallion of Alliance/Horde. Just to make sure you don't get OHK'd or stunlock to death, if you're rich in terms of Gold, buy some of the blue PvP gear from the AH if they're cheap.
There you go, 3 basic things you can do to improve your PvP.
Well I know how to do 1 and 2 pretty well thanks to kiting in PvE. I have the honor for a medallion so I'll grab one of those. First experiment with a paladin friend last night went well I have to say. We went 2-3 in about 30 minutes before he had to leave. I think I could eek out the games.
Have to try for another 3 wins tonight.
