No.
Glyphs would be:
Glyph of Exorcism
Definitely no.
Also Holy Wrath does more damage than Exorcism (provided you are in range).

I tryed it out myself on my level 54 Paladin and it was amazing
and as he approaches 85 it will get even better.
No it won't. Once you get up there with Ret Paladins who have Inquisition last for about 3x as long as yours, you're going to be screwed.

DoTs no longer "clip." The extra damage from the glyph WILL tick, even if you repeatedly cast Exorcism.
That said, this is either
another troll thread
, or just a player thinking that they are thinking outside the box. Basically, as I've said:
As always, SHOCKadins are the fun convertible to drive around on the weekend. However, it takes a pickup truck to haul around raid duties.

Almost. The dot will still clip, however, when a dot gets overwritten the time to the next tick (and the next tick itself) will be added to the new dot.
To illustrate, let's have generic dot X, it ticks for 1000 damage every 3 seconds over 12 seconds. We will refresh this dot twice, once with 4.5 seconds left, and once with 1.5 seconds left (assuming ticks at 3s and 0s remaining).
On first refresh (4.5s remaining) the new dot will last the full 12 seconds, plus 1.5 seconds for the next tick that the original dot would have occured at, for 13.5 seconds, for a total of 5000 damage (ticks at 0, 3, 6, 9, and 12)
The second refresh (1.5s remaining) will give us a new dot
exactly the same
as the one above us. However, note that we've lost the last tick of the original dot in the above scenario because we clipped before the second last tick. Refreshing a dot between the second last and last ticks (for 100% uptime) results in the maximum possible DPS for a dot.
TL;DR: You can still clip dots, but you can still get a fraction of the damage from dots with early clipping.

I'm not sure about everything else you said, but I do know that repeatedly casting Exorcism (and re-applying the DoT) and letting the DoT tick naturally leads to the same amount of time between ticks. My point was, you can't cause the DoT to NOT tick by reapplying the DoT before its initial tick (as was the case before Blizz re-worked Haste to affect DoTs, etc.).

That's true, but the glyph's actual worth to your dps is substantially lower than you would think it is because you'd (most likely) only ever get one tick off from a given exorcism, and almost certainly never the full dot.

So you're saying an exorcism spamming paladin shouldn't spam exorcism in order to fully utilize the glyph?
Seriously you're just rambling at this point.

I think he's saying that there are more worthy glyphs to take. :P

What Arannia said.
I do wish that Rest Druids and Holy Paladins had something like
Atonement
or
that encouraged non-healing spells other than for pure added damage.

What I love about the lack of such talents is that my holy paladin had a spirit to hit talent, despite (until 4.0.6.) lacking A) interrupts, B) CC, and C) some sort of incentive to cast offensive spells during combat. Meanwhile my Resto shaman has all of those things and no hit talent.

Technically they have
which no one takes :P
But I see what you're saying.

Yeah. More accurately my Resto shaman has no hit talent worth the trade-off compared to not taking it.

also, your saying holy wrath does more damage than exorcism, yes if your AOEing, and then you have the cooldown of course, but this is really more of a single target boss build, you just still have the options for holy wrath and consecration when you need it
Holy Wrath
's damage is spread across its targets. It does the same amount of damage for one target or five targets. For example, if it does 5k damage, it'll do 5k damage to one target, or 1k damage to five targets.
biogoo's was, it does more damage than Exorcism on a single target. If that's the case, if you're DPSing as a healer when you have spare GCD's, you should be popping Holy Wrath before thinking about Exo spamming.
