No. They stack multiplicatively.
This. And in case you haven't taken any middle school math classes, that means:
- You take a 10,000 damage hit.
- Guardian will negate 50%, making it 5,000.
- Divine Protection will negate 20% of THAT (1,000), making it 4,000.
- 10% more of that from the Dwarf racial means another 10% off of that, making it 3,600.
That's just to show the concept, since there's plenty of other mitigation's figured in (armor, healers' buffs like
Inspiration, etc.). What you think would happen (50%+20%+10%=80%) isn't actually how it works.
EDIT: And before you ask, it doesn't matter what order the mitigation's factor in, unless they are static amounts of mitigation and not percentages. For example, 10% off of 10,000 makes 9,000, 50% off is 4,500, 20% off that is 3,600. But again, there are a lot more variables than just your current cooldowns that factor into damage mitigation, including RNG.
