Per the information in this post:
http://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=164720#p2224028
Could you extend the shorthand links to support the suffixes?
Chakra: Serenity
...and...
Chakra: Serenity
Also the others. I imagine your regex is just expecting numbers to the right of the = and I assume it would be easy enough, knowing what you support there, to restrict it to the extra stuff it can accept.

What I'd like is a comprehensive list of them. I think somebody might have made one, but I can't find it )=

Oh, nice icon Alundrei. I like it.
Yeah, that post needs to be moved here or stickied SOMEWHERE. I had to search through my replies to find a thread I saw it posted in so I could even get the link to it.

ironically, i originally posted it in this forum but it was moved to general to increase its visibility ^_^
since we're derailing pelf's topic with general BBCode stuff, i never did get an answer on what the "server" attribute did in the \ tag. i've played about with a few likely possibilities but didn't turn up much.

Also, reported it for a sticky. Hopefully that gets the mods attention.

Actually, couldn't you just let it be...
/\/
Though, I guess you need some more information to pull the tooltip, unless your code for that just takes the path (spell=1234&lvl=10) and derives it from that, in which case yea, that would work, right?

Does that work for you?

Why not just allow the same suffixes on the link BBCODE as you can use in the URL? Wouldn't that make the translation code a whole lot easier?

Maybe. But "buff=true" has been around for a while, so maybe it's just legacy format.

Oh you mean the originally-internal implementation of those link BBCODEs supports that. Okay. Well that's good to know, thanks.
Poke someone for me
:)
