tanks with 130k hp with motw, 3 luck of the draw buff..

When tanking: a genuine nuisance is frost mages freezing everything in place while I try to gather everything up and keep threat on it. I don't know enough about frost mages to know whether this is proper/correct behaviour in PvE, but it's still annoying.
tanks with 130k hp with motw, 3 luck of the draw buff..
\When healing: tanks with 190k stamina, gemmed and enchanted for as much stamina as possible. Show me some avoidance, dammit!

People who don't know the fight but are too scared, too stupid, or too proud to say anything.
Yes, guy who said "left" on Corla, but didn't actually stand in the beam at all ever, I'm looking at you.
This x1000. Had to take both the evolved acolytes on my slightly undergeared tank on my second time tanking, and it was pretty bad.

Tanks that go AFK the second they enter the instance. You've got an instant queue ffs, queue after you've done whatever it is you're doing!
@skipping bosses: Getting a new healer or tank won't take 25min, you'll be at the front of the queue :)

Baddie's, especially when you try to give them advice to get better and they either blow you off or start yelling at you for attempting to help them.

I'm a tank.
I get paid to get instant queue's and people treat me like a god.
Nothing could possibly tick me off.

When a mage/shaman decide to sheep/hex a mob within 2 yards of me while I spread with pestilence and death and decay is already down, then they say "WTF don't pull everything!" Well sorry guy, sheep/hex before the pull, its more useful.

Well... There is one thing that bothers me and that's when people need on items for their Off Spec without saying so or asking.
For example I'm in a group with another paladin and neither of us are dps spec and a dps item drops. Usually I wait to see if someone needs and then I ask if I'm allowed to need for off spec if no one has needed.
So yeah, it's nothing major at all :) and not groundbreaking in the least. But it is just something that I notice I don't like, but I don't call people out on it. I'm just like ok and keep moving on.
I also feel bad when I need on items, I don't know why but I do. I'm at 96 need rolls and 1k+ greed rolls.

Like the title suggests, what things do other do to piss you off. I'll start:
Elemental Shamans who abuse Thunderstorm-
I only see this happening at lowlevels (before 40), but it's annoying. Basically, Elemental shamans will come up to a mob the tank is tanking and use Thunderstorm, knocking them back. It can cause them to glitch or to aggro a few more mobs. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give it a 4. I'm aware it DOES do some damage, but it's not THAT good of a damage source.
well honestly thunderstorm actually does alot of burst damage and is a very good aoe. if you ever meet an ele shaman who does a knockback tell em to get the glyph that removes the knockback. i will always use thunderstorm from now on in dungeons :) AOE pull yea! run in thunderstorm, toss an earthquake and watch the mobs trip as they come back.

Mines pretty simple.
At this point I'm seriously annoyed, so I inspect him. A strength/stamina neck, multiple pieces of Agility gear, including his weapon. Literally half of his gear was melee dps based. A druid healer...
I feel your pain.
Last night I tanked my 2nd ever Zul Aman 5man, so by no means an expert. (I left WoW in March and came back this month) This time as a random pug.
There was an arms warrior in the group. a kick vote kept coming up for him stating his dps was low. Each time the vote failed. Then I noticed that in the PUG, myself and 1 dps were randoms and the arms warrior was in the same guild as the healer and another dps - which explains the vote failing.
Long story short, the warrior did between 4-6k dps. He kept wiping randomly and eventually we 4-manned the last 2 bosses because of his perpetual floor hugging.
I inspected him and noticed he was wearing random gear of biblical proportions. He effectively stat-padded his ilvl to get into the Zul queues but he had, and I promise I'm not making this up:
5 tanking items, 2 pvp items, no gems, 4 wrong enchants....
His ring had agility on, but here's the best one, he wore
Pauldrons of Ambition
with a
Arcanum of Vicious Agility
enchant on.
Aside from the fact that the pauldrons drop off ZA (which means he's seen the fight tactics) and aside from the fact that his 2 buddies are clearly boosting him ... going out in public like that is just not cricket.
I would have more respect / patience if he wore the appropriate quest greens instead of looking like he bought his account on eBay.
Eventually I asked him to change over to healer spec, because he'd be more useful to us that way with all that spirit on his gear. His buddies didn't find it amusing. :<

Hunters who ninja pull bosses while tank is at 80% health and healer is at 50% mana (attempting to sit down and drink).
Hunters who cause such healers rage quit and tanks completely ignore the boss wiping the party to proove the point.
Hunters who than begin battering how its the tanks fault he did nothing to prevent the wipe and pull out the kid argument as soon as they are disagreed with.
Hunters who claim its "only" stonecore heroic so healer doesnt need 100% mana and tank doesnt need 100% hp (or be ready), hunters who go nerd rage when tank says that he will gladly dps and changes to dps spec and dps gear and orders hunter to pull again and tank with his pet.
Hunters who after 10 minutes of battering such tank with obvious lies about the previous trash experiences in front of new healer and after the tank doesnt put up with it, finally say "i apologise" and than "gogogogog"
Hunters who are very surprised that in given circumstances apology is not accepted.
Hunters who pull 11k dps (which is less than tanks offspec gear not gemmed or enchanted) in their firelands gear and proceed not to kill any scouts even though asked beforehand.
Hunters who (ninja) pull more and more groups to proove their point that you can faceroll the instance effectively causing replacement tank to leave.
Hunters who secretly pm the former tank asking about their "main" and are completely surprised when denied such knowledge. Than proceed to pull nub and kid arguments.
Hunters who claim that if in their opinion: u talk like nub, u act like nub, u r nub.
Hunters who asked whether he ever seen nubs in blue non enchanted, non gemmed gear in their offspec they never ever play pull more dps than 360+ geared hunters respond that
imba
never brag about their dps (remember first rule of imba - never brag about your dps).
Hunters who say nothing when asked about other rules of imba.

Would you awfully mind changing your opinion to '
Players
who...'? :P Any class can display such childish behavior, and nothing of it is Hunter-specific (not even the pet tanking, as more and more classes are getting pets :) ).
I already have to battle preconceptions about me as soon as they see my green dot, no need to make it worse :P
Signed, a hunter.
