hey shamans! i was just wondering what everyones ui looked like (if you have a picture I would love to see it, but if not do not bother) and was also wondering what keybindings you have set up for what spells, specifically talking about resto and enh. I have never keybinded and I just wanted something good for raiding, thank you for your time =)

You can upload a screen shot to a photo sharing site like photobucket and post a link to that here.

I use a 3 action bar set up.
main action bar
1 stormstrike/lava lash
2 earth shock/wind shear
3 unleash elements/drop totems
4 flame shock
5 lightning bolt
6 chain lightning
7 hex/bind elemental
8 purge
9 fire nova
0 magma totem
- searing totem
=/' lightning shield/water shield
secondary action bar
F1 earthbind totem
F2 grounding totem
F3 stoneclaw totem
F4 tremor totem
F5 healing surge
F6 healing wave
F7 healing stream totem
F8 mana spring totem
F9 heroism
F10 fire elemental
F11 earth elemental
F12 weapon imbue (WF/FT)
tertiary action bar (button order doesn't matter)
V mount
F ghost wolf
shift+F berserker rage
ctrl+F feral spirits
shift+R racial ability
shift+V totemic recall (not actually on the bar, just keybound for my Shaman)
ctrl+V lifeblood
I also have a 4th bar, tucked to the side of the screen for "important things that aren't important during combat", such as professions, mini pets, bandages (keybound to shift+F2), and "things I can get away with clicking" like potions, silly trinkets, and water walking/water breathing.
My overall UI has changed since I took
this screenshot
(even
this one
is out of date), but you can get an idea of my bars and button placement as well as see how my Shaman keybinds are similar but different from my Hunter keybinds.

I'm at work so I can't post a screenshot at the moment.
In general though, my keybinds are standardized across all my characters. The number "2", for example, is
always
for interrupts (
Counterspell
if I'm playing a Mage,
this one
for Shaman, etc.). That way, regardless of character, I won't have to spend a lot of time re-orienteering myself.
Also, for the sake of convenience and queuing up spells, Lightning Bolt is assigned to the letter "F" and Lava Shock at "R".

nice foto what addons you have on?
how you have make it to look like thas the iu? XD
(i see a lot of differn iu but i wound like to see them in foto's too)
I use the following addons (some are labeled in the
first image
, but not all of em):
Stuf - unit frame addon (
WI
/
C
)
Prat - chat frame addon (
WI
/
C
)
SLDT - data broker addon (the small text along the bottom of the chat windows) (
WI
/
C
)
Bartender - action bar addon (
WI
/
C
)
(see also: Dominos) (
WI
/
C
)
rActionButtonStyler - tweaks how the action bar buttons look (
WI
/
C
)
(see also: ButtonFacade) (
WI
/
C
)
PowerAuras - well, its PowerAuras... of course. (
WI
/
C
)
Chinchilla Minimap - minimap addon (
WI
/
C
)
Bagnon - inventory addon (
WI
/
C
)
TipTac - tooltip addon (
WI
/
C
)
SatrinaBuffFrame - buff/debuff addon (not used in those screenshots due to not being able to right-click buffs at the time) (
WI
/
C
)
Whew... that being said, the bulk of how it looks is thanks to fiddling around with Stuf for countless hours. It's a lot of trial and error when I do it, as I think something looks nice and then 20 minutes later I tweak it because it doesn't work in practice.

I have two bars. The top is
1
thru
=
(as is typical), and the bottom is
Q
thru
]
. However, since
W
is part of my normal maneuvering keys (WASD) I instead have that spot assigned to
for Bloodlust.
Using Bartender4, I used Bar 10 (yes- Bar 10!) for my Q+ keybinds. This bar never changes. Whatever spec I'm in, these are my most-used abilities which I want to have available ALL THE TIME.
The top bar (with flipping enabled) I can use to scroll between Bars 1 and 6 for whatever else I need. I still keep my second-most used items and abilities on Bar 1, and then flip up to 6 or down to 2 (tracking me here?) using my mouse wheel for other things I may occasionally need.
]
(I obviously can't put "u" and "i" into the above brackets, because that would cause underlining and italicizing.... but that's what belongs instead of the "v" and "|")
Anyway, I liked this setup so much -- after taking like three days to figure it out! -- that I've begun redesigning ALL of my toons' interfaces to use this basic setup.
As far as individual abilities, specific to Shamanism? I tend to keep Ghost Wolf on Q and Wind Shear on E. Two of the more important capabilities, right at my fingertips. If I were on my Warlock though, I'd be using those two for controlling my pets.
