Hey Wowhead frequenters, one of my numerous brothers recently introduced me to a game which I would like to share with you, some of you may have heard of it, I know I hadn't until a few days ago.
It is called Space Station 13, and it is made equal parts frustration and fun, if you can mount the incredible learning curve. It's a 2-dimensional, top-down, cheesy-ass graphics Sci-fi space station simulator, if space stations were run by internet !@#$%^&s.
You assume the role of one of many inhabitants of this space station, and will work actively to either keep it running, or blow it up, randomly determined each round. You can be one of many jobs ranging from Captain, to Roboticist, to Engineer, or even controlling the ship's artificial intelligence.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, and you have a lot of free time on your hands, investing some in learning this overly complicated game may yield many hours of joy!
Or you'll just get pissed and quit because someone hit you in the head with a toolbox and threw you out the nearest airlock.
Either way, you don't have much to lose!
Here's the main info page and WIKI, you will NEED this as most players besides the admins would rather set you on fire than help you:
http://ss13.donglabs.com/index.php?title=Main_PageThis game is definitely NOT for everyone, many of the players are jerks, and the community is not receptive to new people, but for jerks like me, it's a great frigging game.
