im in stormreaver, and one day i was in uldum scanning if any rare mobs around and passed orsis, and wow right away i noticed there was like 20-25 ppl botting. so what i did was to check if it was a real person, was to follow him, and 1st hit his mobs, an the bot would jus keep killing em even tho target was my claim. so i eneded up using the bots to help me farm for a few hours, and guess what . they noticed i was messing there bots around. so they had like 5 ppl camping me. so i reported 25 names to a gm, and even he came to look what was going on. he even told me that he never seeen so many botters in 1 small area. 15-20 mins later only the few ppl was left farming.... so im guessing gm got em.
i seen alot of bots in BG's as well, kinda getting annoying.

Sounds like Uldum is the new Azshara.
Many a day was spent in Azshara, tagging mobs and letting the poor little Hunter's and their pet boar named "Boar" do all the dirty work.
Though I fail to see how a bot can be of any use in a BG... multi-boxing I can understand, but a bot may as well scream "I'm FREE xp!" if you ask me.

Dayum. If things are as bad as OP makes it to be, I might have to revise my "no first strike" policy. Probably the only thing I hate more than getting /spit on are botters.
(yes, I know it's crazy and/or stupid to adopt such policy in a PVP server)

It's not if you're dying to botters :P Are you that bad at PvP?

no, thats what im trying to say. the person thats been botting for awhile prolly came back and was like wtf this guy taking my loots. so he brings 4-5 real ppl to come gank me, so i end up killing his bots, then out of no where they all pop. lol and gank me. then ended up leaving since there was no chance of me even tagging a mob

Not really... to see another character from the opposing faction is a rare event for me; I can't remember the last time I see more than two per week in any non-BG setting.
But I do remember when I'm playing my Troll Moonkin and ambushed a Worgen Warrior in Zangarmarsh... I won, but felt really guilty about it ;_;

Yeah... I came across "bots" in a few BGs, primarily AB and Twin Peaks... 3 or 4 players that stay in the Flag room or the graveyard and move just enough to not be flagged as AFK.
It isn't exactly "botting", which is using an external program to control the account (which is illegal); It's players using another account and not actively controlling it.
I know of quite a few scripting programs that let you send hardware events on a loop (strafe left, wait 1min, strafe right, wait 1min, repeat, etc). Which that would be AFK-botting.

Why all the bot hate?
I love those bots. They make sure mats are always at the AH and they keep prices affordable. Without the bots those crafted items would be insanely expensive, way more than they are already.
I personally would never bot because I'm just way too afraid to lose my account but I am very grateful to all those brave men and women who are willing to risk their accounts just so that I can continue to buy underpriced mats on the AH.
We should all stop the QQ and honor those brave botters, they are making the World of Warcraft a better place.
