Here is my Armory
skip to TL;DR to bypass backstory
I used to think of myself as a good healer, but since server transferring to play with a RL buddy my performance has steadily declined.
I had been doing 10's but his guild is full clearing 25m so I had to adjust my healing style for this, more CH, HR, and Surge than I'm used to to. For 10's I had forsaken CH and HS for the most part. Doing RT, HW, GHW, and selectively casting HR. The next week I went from doing 6k HPS back up to 10k HPS.
Then Rift hit.
Their 25m collapsed to barely 10, and I haven't been able to get into that raid since I'm new.
Last night I went into a BoT with a full epic H-Pali and a slightly better gear R-Sham. H-Pali was doing 10k+, I was hovering 6k-8k, and other Sham was 5-7k. Plus I was going out of mana so fast it was ridiculous, I'd bottom out 2/3 in despite MT, then I'd have to pop Mana potions and do a HW Spam. We got up to Captain Planet but DPS was too weak to finish him off.
TL;DR
I feel like I'm facerolling atm, and I find that frustrating and scary, knowing I can do better
I need a refresher/tips of difference between healing 10's vs 25's.
Perhaps also opinion on my gear. I got 921 Haste for extra HoT and then went full Mastery.
Do I need more Spirit?

I use only mana-generating trinkets, honestly. Trinkets with extra heal-procs are more useful for Druids, who rarely /oom. (They prioritize for Haste over Int and even Spirit) Using this, and some decent gear, I'm pulling up to 13k in Magmaw fights. (Which, plays to my strengths, since the entire raid stands in one area) I even one-healed the last bit of Magmaw this week, after the two other healers went down. (Holy Priest, Druid)
I also use Telluric Currents as often as I can -- only having put two points into that talent, and nothing else -- in order to generate mana returns. And, keep several
Potion of Concentration
s handy for raiding with. For massive mana returns, when you need them most.
It helps to know if you have people providing useful raid buffs, too. Might or some other buff which gives mana back, can be really helpful. (If I have to drop Mana Spring, something is probably wrong)
Is there anyone in your raid who is providing Replenishment? Resto Druids, Destruction Warlocks, Frost Mages (rare in PvE), and Ret Paladins are good sources of Replenishment.

Well, for starters it would help if you would gem, gear and enchant as a resto and not as an ele.
-.- I made the silly mistake of logging out while in my Ele gear from doing dailies and a H-Random last night. At time of post it was Resto gear......
Avoid HS as much as possible. I hardly never have to use it in 25man or 10man...
I thought I had seen and read where with the procs from RT or CH, HS turned into a more preferred heal over GHW

i have been 1 time in a 10 man whit 4 shaman on group and everyshaman can summon 2 elemental and if we have 4 thas meant 8 elementals and
everyone elemental can do some good dps and i will not ever what lol dps can do 8 elemental
if the are summon at the same time
I just woke up my roommate laughing so hard.
Anything I can possibly add for the OP is just going to be a rehash, so other than that, just be sure your spell choice is appropriate for the situation. Just because someone's at 10% health doesn't mean you need to use Greater Healing Wave to heal them up. If they're not taking any damage, more mana efficient heals will suffice to get them up, saving you tons of mana in the long run. Base spell usage on the raid's damage taken per second (DTPS) and not solely their health levels.
