No one ever just has an option for plain-ol' vanilla Christian. I don't like affiliating myself with one denomination.

I am both Agnostic and Atheist, they aren't mutually exlusive. I voted Atheist as it's the clearer of the two.

Seeing as this is a question of what you believe, with Atheism and Agnosticism as two options, I would think it's obvious.
And atheist would believe that "there is no God" is a truth claim (for whatever reason).
A agnostic would believe that "there is no God," "there is a God" and any other claim about God are all invalid truth claims to make (for whatever reason).

Christian - Other. I picked the 4 biggest denominations and left that for anyone else.
Wow, 4 other Catholics.

Wow, 4 other Catholics.
I did notice that. I'm also not surprised that Agnostic / Atheist is most heavily represented on this board.
(Btw, I haven't voted yet.)

WTB agnostic atheist

Agnosticism and Atheism are not internally defined systems, and thus there are various ways of using them as labels. I personally don't separate knowledge and belief when it comes to God, just with the conformity of the mind with reality, i.e. the truth value of the proposition.

I voted agnostic, but I'm not sure that's really an accurate description.
I was raised Christian (Baptist). I went to church regularly, I prayed at least nightly, and I really felt that I believed the things I was learning.
And then my grandfather died. That's important because he was 1.) Native American, and 2.) Absolutely not Christian. The cloud of pity that descended on us because, "oh you know where that poor unsaved man is going," was infuriating.
There was a lot of bitterness, anger, and "rebelling" for a while... but I got over that. I did however do some serious thinking about what I really believed. I don't think I'll ever return to Christian beliefs, but I've made peace with it and have respect for those that do truly believe and live the lifestyle without making a nuisance of themselves to those who don't. (Also those that don't use their religion as an excuse to treat women as lesser creatures - I realize most don't, but that's a big thing for me.)
As it stands, I don't know what I believe. I'd like to believe in some god or higher power, but so far I've found none. Though I don't necessarily believe that if there is a god, they're completely unknowable.
I do believe there are things in this world that we don't quite understand.

Speaking of which I'd be interested to know if said person would identify themselves as a theistic or atheistic Jew.
My dad identifies atheistic Jew but I don't believe such a thing can really exist.

There Judaism is a culture, lifestyle, and nationality, not a religion.
