Crit is not terribad, nor are the other stats. It is not as good as other stats.
And besides that, I am bored.
almost done with heroics raids on my main, but i do raid 4 times per week...
I got to try something new and out-side-the-box.
The main problem for Crit is the reliability, while the main problem for haste was mana, but now they buffed judgement's mana regen, I, myself, see no point on trying for crit stacking. After all, My argument about Crit was, it saves mana, and with procs we have fast heals as well.

See, I'm not relying on crit for critted-heals, so much as I'm hoping to have enough crit -- frequent enough crits -- in order to keep Conviction up to 3 stacks.
You can look at your perf on WorldOfLogs and say, "Hey! Conviction had 97.6% uptime! I'm good!" (This generally says nothing of how many stacks you have... one, two or three)
However, if you actually track the procs, and especially the stacks, of Conviction? I'm hoping to keep it at 3 stacks more often than not. And, I'm playing around with my methodology in order to see if I can influence that.

I get your argument very much, and I considered it from that PoV as well.
However, I also like experimentation. I've been playing around with a lot of things, to see how they "feel" when healing.
Speaking of which? I've been considering playing with a point in
Item - Paladin Pvp Set Retribution 4P Bonus
to see if I care for that at all. (Though, thus far, Proculas is telling me that it's not benefitting me all that greatly, so I'll likely spec back out of it)
And, I also see it as a potential issue of mana-efficiency. Bigger heals (and we're talking bigger NON-critted heals... since we can't place our trust in critted-heals) mean I'm getting more "bang for my buck", my wards are safer, and I'm more likely to have more mana at the end of the fight. Especially if something goes wrong. I've had fights where the other two healers go down, and I manage to keep the raid up long enough to finish the boss. Plus, this creates less reliance on the RNG -- which, let's face it, is a fickle lass -- by pumping my crit generation by up to 12% for Judging. With two points in
(
as opposed to
, which more often generates overhealing than not... in addition to automatic healing which we get from
) roughly 1/4-1/3 of my Judgements can be expected to crit. So, roughly twice a minute I get an extra little jolt to Conviction. In addition to whatever comes from healing, weapon swings and what-not. 3% extra healing than I otherwise would have, much of the time, and in the same gear? I'll take it!
*shrug* Imagine if you saw a Hpally who didn't take points in
. We'd all call them insane.
