Heh, aye, of course, I still have my PS1 copy of the game so I'm set there, same with 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9, and got the FF4 complete collection for the PSP as well.

I was always sort of a fangirl for the original Final Fantasy, mainly because of Princess Sarah and Queen Jayne, which is ironically my name (minus the H in Sarah of course.)
I can't decide which story I like the most out of all of them; I'm leaning more towards FFIII, FFIX, or FFVI. I enjoyed the gambit system of FFXII for some reason, and all the side quests it offered. Never got into FFXI, and only played about 2 hours worth of FFXIII because I broke up with my boyfriend and he had the PS3.
I also have Mois tattooed on my wrist. Is that too much? D=

Have you ever played a Final Fantasy? Kingdom Hearts was created by Square Enix, who are also the creators of Final Fantasy. Kingdom Hearts feature many of the more popular and famous of Final Fantasy characters, including Sephiroth.
So to answer your question, no. Kingdom Hearts is almost the same game as FF. Its an RPG, but not
the
RPG.

Just got FF X and X-2, but I'm distracted by Resident Evil 4, so I'll play them later.

It got a bit of hate back in the day but I'm a fan of X-2. I liked what it did with the genre and the story it followed - not taking itself too seriously but having enough substance (and an excellent combat mechanic) to make it a real game worth all the hours I spent playing it.

It was good, but the 100% completion was a massive PITA, and an utter Guide Dang It moment. Also, I know have yet another copy of Final Fantasy 1 and 2; saw them both in Futureshop for $9 each so figured, why not?

There's a good point where you can run back and forth to reset the enemies for CP grinding (not sure how far you are, so don't want to give spoilers). That being said, you don't need grinding.Think I may have found it; the fight at Hope's apartment? With the endless PSICom soldiers, who drop the currency card to get nearly endless gil? Plan to spend a few hours there, leveling up the CP to massive amounts, and gil up as well.

I never minded X-2, as it was a good change from X....even if the so called best ending means that Tidus comes back....

Something that, if it's not too expensive, I'll be getting when I get a 3DS for KH3DS.

Aye, that's one of the good points earlier on in the game. There are better parts later on, remembering that CP requirements will increase as you level through the crystarium, so there's no sense in grinding earlier, because it's of minimal benefit in the longer run.
There's also an abusive strat to get
mammoth
amounts of CP in very short order (and massive gil / upgrades if you're lucky, as in, 1% drop chance), but it's too random to make it work, IMO.

That is almost worth buying a 3DS just to play. Fingers crossed they bring it out on a couple of different platforms, so I don't need to buy new gear!
Mind you, it's winter 2011/2012 already in Japan.....

Depends on how tight a lock Nintendo has on it, then it could eventually appear on the PSN....but yeah, a rhythm game with all of the iconic Final Fantasy tracks on it? Yes please.
