Neither can I. I'm trying to think, when do you think they'll make the split (since they're making two movies)? I'm thinking they might do it right after the Dwarves get captured by the Elves in Mirkwood. It'd make the battle with the spiders as a pretty good climax, and leave a lot of time for Bilbo's character development and the Battle of Five Armies.
If not that, I'm thinkin' it'll be after the Misty Mountains episode, and they'll have the entirety of Mirkwood in Part II. That makes some sense, as a lot of Bilbo's major character development is in Mirkwood, and that might be easier to convey in a single film.
No matter what, I hope it's awesome.

Idk I gotta reread the novel, its been a few years. I was thinking it could happen right after or before or during Bilbos encounter with Gollum.

I have to say right after the Misty Mountains. The escape from the orcs would be an excellent climax.
Also, I own all three LotR movies, Extended edition <3

And it was £15 for all three in one go because they weren't selling them seperately any more. :'(

I have to say I was dissapointed with the "gory part" of 127 Hours, since it was no way near as bad as people made it out to seem.
My arm hurt doing that whole movie just watching his pinned to the wall >.<
I think the gory part was so bad not because it had ridiculasly depraved gore like Saw or the I Spit On Your Grave rremake. But because it was so realsitic.

How was The Green Hornet?

I've just seen
Green Lantern
, so I figure I may as well deliver my verdict here. :P
First of all; it's worth noting that I know like, nothing, about the actual story and characters of the comics. My conclusion is that it was a fairly decent adaptation. The main gripes I had weren't really to do, as such, with the film so much as the plot. I mean, the aesop was a little too cliché for my liking; confronting your fear rather than giving into it? I've not heard that a billion times since I was two. I also didn't like the opening of the film, I think that was the worst part of the film. The ending seemed a little quick, but actually I think it was done fairly well, even if a little rushed. My other point was little time on the other characters than Hal and the guy with the funny head (can't remember his name); the love interest seemed quite superficial and to me wasn't given enough room to develop.
Other than that, it was alright. I'd probably give it a 6/10, maybe a 7/10.

Hey it worked in Batman begins, why not do it again with the next dozen DC comic movies...

I didn't like Batman Begins very much either. ;)

Heh, since for several thousand million years, the Yellow Taint was the largest weakness for the Green Lanterns.....it makes sense in a universal context. Not sure if I liked the fact that they turned Parallax into a corrupt Guardian as the actual Fear Beast of the comics, which possessed many, was a better move, but the creature effects were cool. Over all; I got over the fact that it was a movie with Ryan Reynolds fairly quick: Have to say, this is the best live action DC movie I have seen, even better then the Batman's(and the Superman's but that goes without saying).
Also: MUTHER FACKING SINESTRO CORPS IN THE SEQUEL!Now there is the sequel I am looking forward to.
Going to watch
Emerald Knights
later today, let you know once it's done.

I know it makes sense, but that doesn't stop the message being a cliché. :P Also, I liked the fact Hal was snarky (seems like a theme with Reynolds, and I think it's good that he's a comic book geek too). And did you say it was
better
than the Dark Knight? :O
