I still don't know who the ginger chick and archer guy are
Dude you know not ever red head is a ginger right? Gingers are uber pale, with bright red hair, and freckles, this chick and the one who plays Sansa Stark are not gingers Xp Ginger doesn't always preclude "pale and freckled". And fine, if you want to be PC about this: auburn. Although auburn is more of a rusty kind of colour than most red headed shades.

Idk if anybody posted the Superbowl trailer.

I love the ending with Loki and Tony.
"I have an army"
"We have a Hulk"
"RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGH"

I might just be being a Scarlette Johansson fanboy <3

I know you didnt like the Dark Knight, but most people think Ledgers portrayal of the Joker was pretty good, and that stayed PG13. Carnage isnt that much worse than the Joker tbh. O_O Lolwut? Okay Joker is more of a killer...but considering that Carnage enjoys using his skin to create blades so that he can flay people alive, chop off body parts, crush people beneath portions of his skin he turns rock hard....and Cassidy himself was an extreme knife nut who cut up his victims till they were unrecognizable. Joker is smarter, but Carnage is more insane...as seen in the team ups, where a few times even
the Joker
thinks Carnage goes too far.
Edit: To give you an idea: Joker can and will let people go....Carnage? Never; he'll let people have a hope spot that he's gonna let them go...then, usually as a joke, he 'lets them go' and drops them off something high.

Go read Brian Azzarello's Joker and tell me again Joker cant sit at the table with Carnage dude. And besides a lot of Carnages worst stuff is never really shown on pannel. In his first appearence there is a news reporter talking about how some family was butchered by a seriel killer and their two children were- *CLICK* Peter shuts off the TV.
I mean the movie Joker wasnt exactly going around killing babys and poisioning boyscouts, or shooting women and stripping them naked. Carnage dosnt have to be as brutal as the comics, he could just be a seriel killer. And he dosnt have to do anything worse than stab adults with his spikes and such, and it will still be brutal enough to be Carnage, while still being a PG13 rating.

Not saying he can't, but they are still two completely different characters: Carnage has always been the type to play with his food compared to the Joker. Carnage is like the Punisher; he's not the type who works well in PG-13 movies....at least, not without really really really really &*!@ing with the character, since a non-brutal Carnage isn't Carnage.
And you should look up the few Batman/Spider-man comics where Joker and Carnage team up; it's not pretty.

Eddie Brock is supposed to be a body builder
I thought he was a journalist too? Been a while since I read the comics though. The Church link was right though, but could have been done much better.
Killing Joke was rough, I wonder if Red Hood will make an appearance in the movies? After all DC haven't been afraid to go up to 15 (or R17 in the US I guess) ratings.
Edit: I forgot about Punisher, guess neither franchise avoids the gritty stuff.

Brock was big, then became bigger when he lost to Parker.
And I doubt we'll see the Red Hood, since that was either a persona of the Joker or the current one that's Jason Todd....and that would be one hell of a shoe-horn to get that in.

ugh i'm not sure i can even talk about the spiderman movies. Foreman as eddie brock was the biggest mistake in movie casting history. I'm not sure eddie brock was ever a body builder, maybe in some other comic i didn't read since i'm old. The ones i read he was a highschool sports star and then took up journalism in college and as a career. All in the hopes of getting approval from his unloving drunk of a father.
I was highly disappointed how they portrayed venom in that last movie. Of all spiderman's enemies, venom was always the one that stood out as his arch enemy. But you wouldn't have gotten that from the movie nor from how it ended. When they made the superman movies you never saw them kill off Lex why do they kill off all spiderman's enemies? sigh...imma stop now before i start ranting. This has been a sore subject at my workplace between us comic book nerds.

I always considered the Green Goblin(s) to be Spidermans arch enemy. Venom is certainly the fan favorite villain though. He has always been my favorite as well, although I liked him much more as a villain than I ever did as a hero (well antihero).

well i think it's hard to call the green goblin his arch enemy. Sure the green goblin was his enemy, but peter parker would never accept the fact that harry osborne was no longer his friend. He wholeheartedly believed that his friend was still in there somewhere and that he could save him.
However, brock and parker were never friends and were always enemies up until the carnage series, in which they became temporary allies.
personally i'd love it if they just had spiderman vs venom movies.

When I think of the Goblin I usually think of Norman, there were like four different people to put on the hood though, plus the Hobgoblin.
The thing that made Venom so scary was that he knew who Peter was and he didn't trigger the Spider sence. So Peter was basically living in fear for a while never knowing when Venom was going to strike or come for him.

Spider-man has too many arch enemies: all of the members of the Sinister Six, the endless rounds of the Goblins, the Symbiotes etc etc etc; it's hard to just pick one now a days.

Just got back from watching safehouse. It was a very good movie, I thought. A well-written story, excellent portrayal of all the characters. My only complaint is that Densel Washington's character did not use more psychological manipulation, which is what he character was established to excell at. Beyond that, though, I don't have anything negative to say.

So was tooling around on the web, hunting for a full version of the Extreme Ghostbusters theme song, and came across the article on Wikipedia about Ghostbusters 3....and after reading all the stuff, including the thing about Bill Murray shredding his copy of the script, makes me wonder just what kind of hell movie we're gonna end up seeing possibly at the end of this year, since his comment was about 'no one wants to see a bunch of fat old guys chasing ghosts'. They also mention they wanted to make the new team three guys and a girl....so are they gonna borrow stuff from Extreme Ghostbusters as well(since that was 3 to 1)?
I dunno, maybe we should all just accept the 2009 video game as the true third part of the Ghostbusters, since that makes references to both the movies, and both cartoons(they talk about the incidents in 1995((Extreme)) as making the ghosts much much meaner compared to the originals which makes sense since a lot of those were more like Eldritch Abominations compared to ghosts).

I would actually love to see the Extreme Ghostbusters in a movie. I grew up with that show, and I think it would be a great idea to transfer it and its character over to the live-action medium. As for the video game, I liked it a lot but I don't know if saying "this was as good as its going to get, so lets just forget about it and let it die" is the best option. The Ghostbuster franchise is a highly maliable one, nearly on par with comic book super heroes, and simply letting go of that instead of attempting to have it evolve in some new way would be a shame.

Heh, well the game had the original script that Dan Akryod wrote the first time for the third movie. As for making Extreme a live action thing...maybe a combination instead; sorta of like the finale of the series 'Back in the Saddle' which had both the original Ghostbusters working with the Extreme team.

Maybe, but that would fully depend on all of the old Ghostbusters wanting to come back. If any one of them decided that they didn't feel like doing a third movie and they had to find a replacement actor, the nostalgic feel would be lost and the plot, made to revolve around a combination of the two teams, may not be as excellent as it would have been.
In other nostalgia-related news: I just found the
Bionicle: Mask of Light
movie in full on Youtube! I am happily rewatching it and enjoying the nostaliga of my childhood.

Well it doesn't sound like Bill Murray is planning on coming back for the third movie that's in the works now...which sucks, as Venkemen is one of my favorite characters in the Ghostbuster universe, with Egon as my actual all time fave.
