The entire plot of Limitless is given in the previews... it was quite predictable, to say the least.
It was good, don't get me wrong, but highly predictable.
It was hilarious. Not bad, except some parts,
but hilarious. Whenever I jokingly said something REALLY STUPID, every time, without fail, the character goes and do it.
The thing with the blood, totally called it. As a joke. Plus, it would never work in real life. It's diluted through his entire blood stream, so to get the amount he got you'd have to drink him dry, which would drown you. And none of it would probably get to your blood-stream anyhow. And, barring the whole super-smart pill thing, that stuff about humans only using 10% of their brains is crap too. Also, the scene where she slashes the guy with the kid on ice-skates.
Also just watched Sauce (Source) Code. Good movie. Disappointed that the writer couldn't just kill the character, but the ending had it's own merits. I enjoy the repeating eight minutes idea, kind of like that one movie about a crime scene from different perspectives... Vantage Point or something? 8/10.

So advance reviews say Thor is quite good. This partly surprised me, since Thor doesn't seem to be the most easily-adaptable character, but part of me had a feeling it'd be good ever since I found out Kenneth Branagah was directing.
Honestly, the only superhero movie of the year I'd had a little hope for was Captain America (mainly due to Hugo Weaving as the Red Skull and a decent trailer), but it sounds like Thor may surprise me. Might have to go out and see it.
It looks *!@#ty to me, from the trailers (I tend to ignore most reviews). But I'm still going to watch it, to abuse my watch films for free card. :P

"Better" is a relative term. I'm sure the story is phenomenal as they usually were back in the day, and good enough that it spawned 4 sequels.
I'll still be watching them, and I'm sure I'll enjoy them. It's a matter of finding the 2 hours to watch the first one with my roommate (he works nights, and I work days, and Nanny my nephew on off days).
Not a fan of the remake...at all....prefer the original series.

I wish I still had creative writing. Been spending my free periods with their class watching Dave Chappelle skits and Airplane.

I watched Thor a little earlier, and it was
much
better than I had anticipated. It probably helps that I only have a vague idea of the Norse mythology, and that I never watched the cartoons, but the trailer for it really doesn't do the film justice, in my opinion. It was also pretty funny in parts, and I hardly ever laugh in comic book style films. I would recommend it, personally.

and that I never watched the cartoonsHaven't really been any just straight Thor cartoons; he's mainly been in the Avengers vehicles.

Well, I never watched any of those either. ;)
I just watched X Men, Spiderman and Batman as a kid for my main Marvel/DC fixes, okay? :(
Edit: From the trailers of Captain America and the Green Lantern, it looks like probably one of the best 'Avengers' films before they all mash together to kill evil or something. Then again, as I said I thought the Thor trailer was also crappy. :/

I read about the Norse myths long before I discovsred the Thor super-hero, and uh... It was kind of weird. I'll probably spend the whole movie yelling about inconsistencies with the original myths, not even the comic (THAT nerdy, oh yeah), but like it.

Um....Green Lantern is DC lol. And I think the Capt America movie is going to end up being the actual Avenger movie before it's over, since all of the new ones, from Spider-man to X Men to the Fantastic Four are based more on the Ultimate Universe instead of the main stream one; the Ultimates was formed once Capt was found......and the Banner threat was created heh.
And while I love GL....I have a really bad feeling I won't be able to get over Ryan Reynolds as Hal and may end up souring the movie for myself.
