Eh, really not a fan of him in general though; while Hal is a happy go lucky guy, he's also serious and Reynolds....I don't think he'll pull it off very well. I don't even know what else he's in. But Reynolds might just surprise you, and I think the best thing to try and do is go in with as few pre-dispositions as possible. Usually, it makes a somewhat tolerable film absolutely painful to watch.
And plus he's abso *!@#ing lutely adorable.

Just finished watching 28 Days Later. Enjoyed it, but wasn't extremely impressed. Was basically a combination of Day of the Dead and Rambo.

The movie is much better if you can appreciate Cillian Murphys beauty.
You know, it kind of makes you want to be in the movie.Lord knows I'd wouldn't make all the dumbass mistakes he made in the first half of the movie... xD

Norse mythology.Only with the most liberal definition on "Norse Mythology"... :P Marvel's Thor is a fine superhero,
but a good representation of Norse mythology he is not

Hey, he had brain surgery.. or something.. and was naked... it's not his fault.Okay, I suppose I'll give him that one. He did turn into Rambo at the end, after all, gleefully watching as all the soldier died.
But still, wandering into an abandoned diner alone in a zombie movie? >.>

I mean, if you went into it expecting some kind of Academy Award winning thing, then yeah, you'll be disappointed.
I quite enjoyed Thor. There was face-bashing and explosions and explosive-face-bashing and Norse mythology.
stopping the quote pyramid
But I agree with the above.
Thor: This drink… I like it! More!

To be honest, I don't know what I was expecting from Thor... There was a bunch of face bashing, and smashing, there was ample destruction, but some things just elude me as to why some people thought it was "ZOMG-Awesome-sauce-BBQ".
I'm not saying the movie was utter garbage... It was decent, but not as good as I'd have hoped for.
It has to be better than Ghost Rider...

I liked Thor quite a bit to be honest. I'll give it an 8/10. But then, I am easier to entertain than most.
Also, this whole Thor-thing was new to me (Yes, Adams), so I suppose that may have contributed to my liking of the movie.

I loved the movie; the actor playing Loki was awesome; and with the set up for the Avenger movie at the end, that alone is worth the price of admission.
Edit: Sad that Hawkeye didn't do much though.....

Well in any case I think the Avengers is going to blow my freaking mind. When I first heard about the project it was a /groan, but after everything ive seen the past few years im pretty excited.
Only nit pick is that Edward Norton wont be comming back as Bruce Banner.

Yeah, Norton was a great Bruce Banner imo.
Norton's just a great actor. I really can't imagine in my mind's eye the
new Hulk
as the Hulk. :(
There's the small problem, for me, that I despise Robert Downey Jr. - and I specifically hate Ironman (the character himself is dry and bland to me)...
