I'll give it to you blunt.
Do you promise? /blush
Also, @crit value ... the first thing that came to mind with the crit change is Discipline Priests. A significant part of their damage mitigation is Divine Aegis which is ... directly proportional the amount of the critical heal. So....

LookOut
4.1 powershift nerf will never be forgoten, it was a very sad day for not only every feral druid but for every class in the game.
I might be mistaken, but I believe the powershift nerf was in 4.0.6. In 4.1 they made it possible to break roots with Dash and Stampeding Roar. And 4.1 also contained bear buffs, so no it was NOT a very sad day :D It also contained affliction buffs for warlocks, so it was a very very good day really!
Rift aint that bad
foley
-.- you could have at least used HKO or Aion instead ...
He was referring to the individual uniqueness Yuna. You can assemble your own talent tree in that game (choosing 3 out of 8 I think)

.. and remove the placemental requirement of shred.
Of course, this is an issue in some bosses, where you doesn't have the freedom to stand behind the target at all times (BH is one of the few my Feral have seen), so Shred's placement requirement is really annoying for those few times. But for all other times, you should be standing behind the target anyway, to prevent all sorts of breaths, cleaves, and what have you.
But so far so good, the only "nerf" we see is swipe, which is justified by all means, in my opinoin.

After all this time, I kind of look at Shred as a helpful check for the whole raid. If I'm in the melee clump and I can't Shred the boss, then
all
of the melee are losing DPS to parries. I call out tank position adjustments over vent quite commonly.

powershift nerf will never be forgoten,
Fix'd
Powershift was the term used for kitties back in BC who used the 2T4 feral set bonus (helm/shoulders) to gain 'free' energy. It just does NOT feel right to be calling shifting for root breaks "powershifting" to me.

I still call this out to this day and I've not been kitteh since BC :P
Eh.. is the guy who plays ONE spec of ONE class...
I am not sure why you assume he only plays kitty... I've heard of him playing bear and even balance and even beyond that several other classes. He talks about kitty because he KNOWS kitty just as I talk about Boomkin because I KNOW Boomkin. This in no way implies that we limit ourselves to a single choice.
Do you really want to play WoW as a 4 class game with 10 different skins?
This has worked quite well for more then a few games.
No matter the level of homogenization of GEAR you will see the classes themselves STILL play very differently. Making a statement otherwise clearly indicates to me that you have not taken the time to properly branch out and
truly
experience the other 30 class and spec combinations.
The gear homogenization makes a tremendous amount of sense from a development point of view and I will never mount a serious complaint against it so long as that holds true. Class homogenization so far as we have seen is in exactly the same boat and the intentions and thoughts behind it have so far made quite a bit of sense.

Aaactually ... the old design for Furor wasn't that you shifted into form with n% of the energy you "would" have regenerated since the last time you had zero. It used to actually GRANT you energy. So, you could drop your energy to zero, then shift cat->cat and you would get more energy back.
That was probably back far enough that there wasn't even any energy smoothing and it was only every 2 seconds that you got 20 energy back. I remember using an addon that blipped every "tick" (2 seconds) so you could time openers to happen directly before a tick so you could optimize your attack timing to your energy regeneration.
You could
combine
this with
Wolfshead Helm
and that ended up making that ilvl 45 helm better than tier helms which was the beginning of the end.
