Also, is Spanish your native language? (Just asking because, AFAIK, it's the second most popular language in the Western world). If so, there is an
official Spanish dub
that came on a DVD of The Ticket Master with one of the Latin American toys.
If Spanish
isn't
your first language, there's also a ton of fandubs on Youtube that could probably be burnt to a DVD if you want to get creative... :P

I don't get it.
That is, the people who actually get upset about people not in the intended demographic enjoying the show. Do you also get upset if someone like something else you despise (like food, movies, music, cars, etc), and do you then feel an urge to tell everyone that their subjective opinion is wrong?
And raise questions about their sexuality for liking the show? How... What... Why... Meh, forget it, I strongly doubt I'll be able to understand your reasoning for drawing that conclusion.
As far as I'm aware, it got a cult following because (before the show had even come out) it was lashed with heavy criticism for being 'degenerate to young girls' or something like that, so some decided to see for themselves how degenerate it was, and were surprised by how positive the characters are as role models.
"Degenerate to young girls"? Hell no, I hope they release this show on DVD/BD dubbed to my language so I can give it to my niece (soon to be 3 years old), there's lots of wisdom in this show in a format I think both she and her parents can enjoy. I'm generally not a fan of dubbing, but my niece isn't all that good in English yet.
Well, I agree, but I'm citing
why
people decided to start following it in the first place. The reason being moral guardians who criticised the show without watching it, or not watching it as objectively as possible, piqued people's interests and, well, it sort of snowballed to people loving it rather than hating it. :P

So, I'm reading Harry Potter, and just finished the chapter with the sorting hat. They talked about all the different houses, and who generally fills them.
So I started wondering which houses the various ponies of the Mane Cast would go to...
Seems to me Twilight is a perfect match for Ravenclaw, being that she's a super-smart smarty smart pants. Of course, Hermione didn't get there, and she's about as bookish.
Applejack seems like a Hufflepuff to me. Hufflepuffs, for what I've seen, seem to come across as the Sam Gamgee type, perhaps a bit quaint and unimposing, but always with a good attitude and surprising strength where it counts.
Initially I pinned Rainbow Dash as a Slytherin, because she's willing to do anything to win (as seen in Fall Weather Friends), but since she resisted the temptation to join the Shadowbolts to get ahead herself, and stuck with her friends instead, I'd have to say Gryffindor.
I'm not sure where I'd put Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity...
Trixie is definitely a Slytherin... :P

much
clearer why Hermione is a Gryffindor and not a Ravenclaw. Spoiler is spoiler.
A prime example of her Gryffindor characteristics would probably be when she chooses to erase all of her parents' memories and basically change who they are whilst she goes with Harry to search for Horcruxes, so that if she dies or Voldemort wins and she is constantly on the run, her parents will be happy and safe, in the hope she survives and can then track them down and reverse the memory charm.

Um, I'd put Fluttershy in either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor (due to her care for others mixed with her bravery, such as when she stares down the @#$%ing Cockatrice) - Pinkie, probably Gryffindor (Giggle at the Ghostly, what else can I say? :P) or maybe Ravenclaw (what,
Luna Lovegood
got in there?), and Rarity... um. :P She could get into most of the houses, I think. Her guile could put her into Slytherin, her insight and attention to detail into Ravenclaw, or her nerve could be valued as a Gryffindor. :/ I'd have to edge with putting her in Ravenclaw though.
Applejack is a definite Hufflepuff, through and through.
Hufflepuff is well known for loyalty, fair play, honesty, and tolerance. The house is symbolised by a badger, and the house colours are yellow and black. Its common room is near the kitchens. That sounds like a certain pony.

I think Rarity might get the Sorting Hat to send her to Gryffindor just because it's the most glamourous... :P

Any one feel like linking a youtube channel that has full episodes and will be posting season 2. For I am lazy and don't like to hit the search button.
Someone did post them all on youtube, but they got taken down.
It's possible you can get it of iTunes(? I think this was it), but they utterly screwed up the colors, they're washed out and it's generally way too bright (you can fix some of it by changing gamma & such in a media player). Otherwise there are other sources such as torrents that may or may not be legal depending on the laws of your country, but if you enjoy the show, I urge you to throw some money at the creators. I intend to buy the DVD/BD when it's released, but I won't throw money at them through Apple when the quality is subpar (don't have iTunes either).
There are other users who still have full episodes on youtube. I'm not linking, because I'm too lazy to search for someone who's too lazy to search. I'm also unsure about if the entire season's online, but some episodes definitely are.

Taken from Menlo's channel:
It's a bummer, I know. When I know for sure what's happening, and whether the videos will return, I'll let you know. In the meantime, if you want to watch ponies, I suggest doing it legitimately. You have some options:
1) Go to the Hub website. They usually post the full episode there the Thursday after airing - the same schedule I used on my channel - and leave it up for a few weeks.
2) Buy the episodes on iTunes. I'm pretty sure they're around $2 each.
3) Get the Hub cable channel (it's in the basic "family" package for AT&T U-Verse, and appears as a "premium" channel for most other cable providers).
4) Pester Hasbro to release a DVD or Blu-Ray version of the show.
So I guess the first two are the best way to get them for now. I hope #4 becomes an option soon. Someone like me who is willing to pay 25 bucks for a pony shirt is willing to buy the dvds too! Wisen up, Hasbro!
