Well guys, I never thought I'd say it, but with the "Princess Coronation" finale and
this
, I'm starting to believe that they're really gonna do it.
Not gonna give up hope yet though.
You keep saying it like it's a BAD thing. Will it be jumping the shark? Possibly, it'll be a bit strange but I'm sure that it'll still be interesting to watch. Will it ruin the show? No, in fact it may make it all the better by throwing in new episode possibilities!

I still don't see what the big deal is.
But I feel this video is appropriate.

On the plus side, it should help eliminate some of the
No Hero Discount
and
Dude, Where's My Respect?
problems the Mane 6 have been having. Like when they save the world twice but Fluttershy can't get a freaking cherry, or when Rainbow Dash saves Spitfire's life, spends a day hanging out with her, saves Soren's pie, organizes the Cloudsdale waterspout, but still get made wingpony after saving the world
four
times.
While Twilicorn won't solve all of those problems, I'm positive at least she'll get some respect. Plus, she'll be the first princess to live in Ponyville, which would help the town as a whole.

News travels slowly outside of Canterlot.
And I've heard that it might just be part of a "switching destinies" subplot for the coronation episode. With another theory I've heard about Candance/Shining Armor having a baby, I'm thinking Twi might get her destiny switched with the kid (at least until the resolution, of course). How that plays out will remain to be seen.

So apparently hasbro is making a MLP tv movie, and a new MLP IP that will be targeted at teenage girls:

Thoughts? I'm interested in the movie, tho I'm not sure how I feel about a teenage girl version of MLP.....I'm choosing to remain cautiously optimistic as long as the FiM team is used for both.

The idea of human ponies always makes me cringe in fear. This version is no different.

Albeit slightly less harshly, I'm with Sold on this one. Still, I suppose we'll have to wait for season 4 to REALLY see where it goes. If Studio B did overlapping story archs for the show, I think we could have seen a little more improvement (i.e. :Discord behind the Cutie Mark Switching and the Return of Chrysalis and her Changelings, drawn by the sudden resurgeance of love in Ponyville after it was weakened by said Discording).
EDIT: On the OTHER HAND, I found the animation to be extremely well done. And even the songs weren't THAT bad! Oh, and, of course; Pinkie Pie moments were awesome.

I liked the episode. Yes, it was wrapped up too quickly, but Studio B only had 22 minutes to do it. They don't get to decide how many episodes they're allotted.
I really liked the continuity, all the references to previous episodes. I liked how they gave Vinyl Scratch another cameo.
The songs were
really
good. I liked the songs a lot, in particular
that short, sad one
after Twilight screwed everything up. I liked the new dresses the Mane 6 got to wear, along with Princess Celestia (finally in a royal crown) and Luna. I liked that Shining Armor and Twilight's parents were there and got the spotlight for a little bit to show how proud of her they were.
I watched this episode with my two sisters (because my brothers are on a campout), and we all enjoyed it a whole lot. I feel the show at least is safe from going downhill, even if the Mane6 thing still has me super salty with Hasbro.
