/castsequence macro's are bad (just as nochanneling macro's to keep a channel going). The reason for that is that its affected by lag.
/use Moonwell Chalice
/use Metamorphosis
Should be all you need, as it will activate the chalice first, seeing as a macro goes from line to line.

At least I think it should work like that. I asked on the ui¯o forum to be sure.
Not sure exactly how the moonwell chalice works, since I haven't got it yet to do my tests...
For any other trinket I'm sure it would work as you'd want it to, but as I understand, the chalice spawns an object that shoots stuff at you, so chances are the buff isn't applied IMMEDIATELY (although unlikely :P).
(If you remove the trinket while the moonwell is up, you retain the buff unlike on other trinkets, where their effect gets removed - so the buff IS indeed tied to the object)
If you're up to it, you can do these little tests here ...
Test #1
: Find out base metamorphosis power increase
(you could also just check the tooltip of Metamorphosis and skip this phase :p)
/use Metamorphosis
/run if UnitBuff("player","Metamorphosis") then print("Super Power Level at: "..floor((select(7,UnitDamage"player")or 1)*100+.5).."%") end
(use it a few times, so Metamorphosis is active and the super power detector calculates your power level)
Test #2
: Find out .. uh, stuff
/use Moonwell Chalice
/use Metamorphosis
/run if UnitBuff("player","Metamorphosis") then print("Super Power Level at: "..floor((select(7,UnitDamage"player")or 1)*100+.5).."%") end
if the power level result from Test #2 is greater than Test #1, then your macro should work just fine as it is.
If the power levels were the same for both tests, you can also try this, to give the moonwell some time to activate (and it's also good to prevent from accidentally using meta before chalice if by chance your impending doom procs took meta CD below chalice's :P).
/castsequence Moonwell Chalice, Metamorphosis
/run if UnitBuff("player","Metamorphosis") then print("Super Power Level at: "..floor((select(7,UnitDamage"player")or 1)*100+.5).."%") end

TL;DR:
Probably it works, if you want use the test.
As I am not demo myself yet, I can't test it yet.
EDIT: So if someone could test it, that would be nice.

@Rekijan:
I tried the Test#1 and for some reason it didn't print the output and I couldn't see the results. I did the "poor man's version" however and used the mouse over tooltip to see the difference.
1. When I did the mouseover tooltip on Metamorphosis without Moonwell Chalice it said I got 54% more damage. Ok fine. Good.
2. When I did the mouseover on Metamorphosis with Moonwell Chalice (in the same macro as Meta) it said that I got 73% more damage. Which means that macroing them together appears to work, for me at least.
Bullet point #2 above really confused me because all over the internet they're saying that it's the latency that causes /use 13 along with Meta in the same macro to not recognize the extra Mastery - therefore you need to separate the two into two different key binds. But my tests are showing that it's working just fine.
Do I still need to separate the two commands into two different key binds?

Tooltips lie quite often.
I get straight Meta and Meta+trinket giving the same percentage but Trinket > Meta giving a larger percentage.
(the macro only prints the % if meta is up so you need to click it again to get the message).

Long time no see, asakawa! I see you're still doing a good job with this guide! I was surprised by the quality when I checked back in to say hello. Keep up the good work! *reads faithfully*

On multitarget fights Affliction is very strong because it can use DoTs on several targets at once. However,
Doom
can only be placed on one target at a time so this is the time to use
Agony
instead (or use
Doom
on the main target and
Agony
on
addds
).
Addds? :D

Fixed, thanks.

In order to maximize the amount of tentacles shown on screen at once, you need to fight Deathwing with 18 warlocks in T13.

Don't forget to update the guide for the patch asakawa, quite some things changing:
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#I0hZIRrf0uMRdocbb:V0adb
(3/31/7 Demonology): Demonology remains as a highly competitive spec even after the Doomguard nerfs in 4.3 being extremely strong in burst damage, AoE and on-demand output.
Note that the ideal single-target spec has changed a bit since the Incinerate buffs in 4.3: You can now ditch Bane for 3/3 Improved Corruption and stop using Shadow Bolt completely, making the spec somewhat easier to play.
You can also set the talent points between Demonic Embrace, Fel Synergy, Demonic Rebirth, Demonic Aegis, Master Summoner, Demonic Empowerment and Aura of Foreboding as you best see fit. Note that with the higher amount of Impending Doom procs you will be getting with the Incinerate filler and haste from Dragon Soul gear you can eventually ditch Moonwell Chalice. Also worth mentioning (just because some people don't seem to know it): Felhunter is the best single-target DPS pet by a huge margin. Use it.

I've now left the game and won't be playing any of 4.3+
I got an email from someone interested in taking over the Warlock guide writing so I'm hoping that there'll be a replacement guide soon.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

Kind of unrelated to the actual guide though, but do you mind if I use the formatting for my guide?
I love it, but thought I should ask before I commit to it too much.

Absolutely fine! I was going to suggest that I email you over the BBCode but I guess you can quote this one to see the BCCode used (something you can't do with the guides system). Still, let me know if that would be useful (my email is on my userpage).

Haha, that's what i've been trying to do. Slight problem is that your post is so long only around half of it fits into a quote box >_>
