So heres my story the only reason why i haven't played WoW before is because my computer isn't up-to par to run WoW in "decent" settings...
But lucky I am getting an AlienWarez PC in 2-3 days. So my friend asked if i wanted to start a new character with him i said sure...
Can anyone tell me exactly how WoW works( for ex. when can i pvp, whats a good starter class.), I'm coming from a Ragnarök Online and League of legends background >_<.
Thanks in advance

I know this isn't what you asked but if you haven't ordered it yet do yourself a favor and get something other than Alienware. You can get a top of the line machine that's not horribly overclocked from almost any other manufacturer for much less than you pay for Alienware.
As for what you asked, PvP starts at level 10 with 2 battlegrounds, Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin. Any class is good to start with, just depends on your play style.

Money isnt an issue plus its already on its way, i didn't ask for it, it was a gift =/.
But back to wow, I would like to play a dps class, where i can rush into combat and do some dmg. my friend said i should play warrior. Are those good, and is it Arms or fury?
And whats about these macro's i keep hearing about they say if i don't use macro's ill suck? ant i just hot key my skills to #'s1-10?

Fury swings two weapons, arms swings one.
other than that it still has a
RAWR SMASH
feel to it.

I know that you've already got answers to your questions. But as recommended I would say a warrior is a decent choice for you to begin with, if you like doing some close-in-your-face damage. And as a warrior myself I can say it's really a nice class. Have been trying all classes and I can say that warrior is the best choice for me as I also like to just rush into combat and smack the little and big monsters in the faces with a sword :-)
As for talent setup, whether it should be this or that here is a bit to the differences from what I have picked up from playing all three:
Arms = One two-hand weapon but with some heavy abilities which does quite the damage sometimes. It's also a bit more awareness minded as I reckon it, as some of the abilities requires another ability to pop.
Protection: Functions as a tank.
Fury: Two weapons and does a fair amount of damage. The abilities doesn't always do as much damage as the Arms ones but still decent damage. I myself played this spec for years and loved it. Now I play Arms as I needed a change.
I hope this was atleast a little helpful. And have fun with your new little Alien and enjoy WoW :)

Just glad it helped :)
Well.. There isn't really any that really does that as far as I know - not that is free that is. But you could however get the QuestHelper addon which, yes helps you questing easier. It shows you in what area the quests you have is at so you know where you're headed and thereby create your own little line of questing. It will always take a lot of running randomly around not knowing what to do really... But damn do I miss that about being new to WoW. So much fun I had back then :)

Questhelper isn't really that necessary these days. All the questing is very linear, and is hard to miss the trail.

Indeed. But it was really if he wanted an addon for it as that was what he requested knowledge of :)
- I could of course have told him of that but I didn't think much of it.
