Excellent question.
When looking at my character, the
OverZealous
overzealous inquisitor/witch hunter with emotion issues, I kinda realized that he's in no way the same as me.
He spent a lot of time calling out people who didn't love the Light, getting angry and nearly murdering people, and basically being a jerkass.
IRL, though, I'm not like that at all. I don't feel emotion all that much besides brief spurts of happiness or intense depression. I don't get long running anger, festering hatred or grudges because it's just not how I work. I also don't call people out on religion, because, to quote myself from an Off-Topic thread, it's ^&*!ing rude.
I let people live their life how they want, and I claim the same thing.
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

Why are you picking on Roofus?
That will be my battle cry when I rejoin you guys; "For Roofus!"
*cough*
On Topic: I have noticed all your characters seem to do this. My own self-insertion seemed to stay me. I got better and stronger then I am in real life, but that is what Azeroth would believably do to a person. You don't walk in a 200 lbs lame nerd and stay that way for weeks. Running from worgen, fighting skeletons, taking a girl in as your "little sister" and watching her get molested, watching a guy you thought was your friend go crazy and start killing people, and seeing a crazy ass phantom thing kill a kid and attack you with the kid's spirit is really going to change you.
Was your change for the better? I like the Makorr me. A sneaky guy, not afraid to take a hit and able to dish one back, who is only out for his own gain.

I don't like the Makorr me. He's too moody and basically an all around &*!@#$bag. I like playing him, but I would never be him.

Can I mention that all your characters seem to go a similiar root Light? I can forsee all the character's of yours I read ending up like Nightbane eventually.

And none of those are really used.
You use a lot of worg characters that go feral, tbh. Might just be what I see though. *cough*anywaysreallyoutnow*cough*

I could forsee Sass, Star-Pelt, Starlight, and "you" going the Nightbane route.
Meanwhile, I find myself going a romance route on all my characters for some reason. Perhaps the fact I have never had a girlfriend contribute to my obsession?
But the strangest part; I
HATE
romance novels... I especially hate ones that describe the sex scenes. Hello, Kenyon, maybe a Dark Hunter or two should start turning off the light?

Heh, what happens to 'me' is perfectly normal, considering the nature of abnormal 'I' tamper with. See what I did there?
By and large, 'my' personality remains the same.

When I became "I" was after "I" had been ignored and verbally (and sometimes physically) attacked. In real life when someone ignores me I go eh and find someone who wont or hang out with people who want to hang out with me or I go and stay pretty quite. R.P.ing someone who is doing not much talking or interactin is kinda boring. So I took a side of my personality and turned the volume up on it."I" used Alu charater as "my" villian. As it was eventually mosh's charater was going to become "my" second villian because all "my" plans were going to fail and mosh was going to be "my" blame for it. That and irl I root for the underdog and Mosh as 1 vs well everyone else in the rp was a huge underdog and the only way to help him was to make "me" evil.
