How do I fully maximize my profit from these resources?

Hey everyone, I finally got herbalism and mining maxed on my "farm" character, because I hate always not having enough gold for the stuff I want, instead of just having a nice stock in advance lol :P.
I found a pretty nice route in Uldum which is yielding me about 100 nodes an hour. I have been finding out unfortunately that just selling the resources pure as they are, is not yielding me as much gold as I was hoping for, since the AH is pretty much spammed.
So, with the following items, does anyone have any neat tips on how I can perhaps do something with these items to make it into something more profitable, my game knowledge is unfortunately not high enough to know what the possibilities are, hence the reason I would like some help :) I'm in a nice guild where there we pretty much have an abundance of all professions available to me, if I would need something in specific. So you can be creative with me.
What I'm gathering is: A lot of , , , and some Volatile's. Any suggetions? Maybe I should be doing something entirely different with my 2 gathering professions to gain some income. Anyways, any help is much appreciated :) Thanks! (oh and on Ravencrest-EU btw, if your nervous about me potentially impacting your market lol :P)

Well first as far as want to do with your mats its going to depend on your AH. So check your prices.
(Incoming wall of Texted)
Sit on All Pyrite Ore that you mine. Make an alt if you have to to send them all the ore. When Blizzard Puts Epic Gems in the game its more then like going to use Pyrite Ore to give Epic Gems drops. (Wrath Titanium went from around 200g a stack to around 1k when epic gems came into the game)
Elementium Ore I would use to level a Jc Toon. Currently they yeild to better profit from the Ore that I'm seeing on my server.
Whiptail and Cinderbloom Are used for Alc. And can make some nice money but again it depends on your server as to want and there is not alot of Crafts that use both of theose herbs and don't mix with others. However a Scrib would use both of those to make Inks. Which make Gylphs, ahd the Darkmoon Cards which make a good income on most servers. (and the proc chance on the Cards is getting buffed some fair chance more people will want the cards)
So possible Profession combos.
1)Jc/Alc (use the uncommon gems to make more Rare Gems) More then likely I would go X-Mute so you get more Proc's on you gem transmutes.
2) Scrib/JC Another good combo that is a good money maker. Gylph Market has died some but still makes a good income if you know what to make and when to post. (Also note with Scrib or JC get a Milling/Prospecting Macro it helps)
Eng and BS use Ores/Bars also but for the most part doesn't have the biggest income compared to want JC can give with prospecting the ore and selling the cut/uncut gems. Enchanting also works nice with Jc as extra Rings/Necks/Weapons can be Disenchanted and mats sold or used for a nice income.

I'm no expert on making gold so take this with a grain of salt. Good point above about pyrite. keep an eye on patch notes to see what the mats will be for crafted items in 4.2. also look for ores and herbs that are rare on the auction house. Fel Iron and cobalt sell for a lot. The problem is finding a good route to collect all that stuff.

On my server, adamantite ore sells for around 200g a stack while elementium sells for around 25 gold a stack. Outland herbs also sell for a lot more than Cata herbs. If you only want to farm for your gold, definitely farm other areas.

Hey sorry for not getting back to you guys since I made this thread. I have read through all of your posts quite a few times and well, to say this short, you guys have sparked a huge interest inside of me to go crazy with the gold making! Thanks so much for the replies, it's much appreciated. I've discovered this wole different side to the game, and it is much more in-depth than I originally thought. There are so many possiblities!
After reading through your posts I did more research and decided to go with the JC/Alchemist so I can perform the shuffle. Besides that, I will be stockpiling for 4.2 and also have a lot of other notes/strategies for the upcoming time. I will most likely get a Inscriber aswell to take better use of my Herbs, and enter the Glyph Market and/or produce inks. Hopefully I'll be rich in a matter of no time, if not, I'll keep trying ^_^ I talk more about what's happened

You've gotten great advice here, and I just wanted to add my own agreement with what others have posted.
I have several toons with various professions, and even though I have a maxed level herbalist, skinner, and miner (3 separate toons obviously) I will still sometimes buy materials off the AH just because I only have so much time to play, and I can't be bothered to go gathering at the moment.
Other times, I will find myself in need of stuff, and I will put on some music or something and just spend an afternoon gathering until my bags are stuffed.
I gathered a bunch of herbs back when I was grinding Darkmoon Cards on my scribe, but mostly I just bought herbs when they were below a certain price. After selling the card procs I didn't want, I ended up spending a lot less than I would have to buy the trinket outright, although I probably did lose some gold.
Between all the professions I have, I probably *could* be rich if that were one of my in-game goals. I settle for having enough gold to cover raid repairs, buy vanity items I want for my main (pet/mount collection), and still have enough of a cushion I could fully equip a leveling alt if I decided to. I just don't have the single-mindedness to stay on task to play the AH game. ^_^
