hey nath, have you finished ME3?

Actually, I kind of put it off for a while. Lately my mom and I have been playing Super Mario Galaxy 2. And by "mom and I", I mean I play the parts she can't and she tags along as the second player.
But I just finished Priority Citadel: II, and will probably play it more often now. And I doubt I will be playing the DLC because my Xbox can't keep a constant steam going with satellite internet.

So I found the new Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies trailer (the 5/31 one).
If I could pre-order the game, I would've by now.

Fairy type can die in a fire.
I honestly don't see a point to it from a competitive standpoint, when dragons already have counters(Ice and their own type; Rock for the part Flying type ones), although i can't think of many with access to a Poison or Steel type move. Besides, Dragon types are meant to be OP. Half of them are pseudolegendaries or have high base stat totals, after all.
Still think it's retarded though.

I just see it as another thing to remember when fighting.
I never really had problems with Dragons. I either had an Ice type handy, or some other that could just power through them (like my Excadrill after a few Swords Dance). And if they were part flying, why even bother with a rock move? Just use that ice beam and GG.
Only one I really have/had trouble with is Kingdra, mainly Claire's.

Well, i can understand in-game, use Ice Beam/Punch and done.
Competitively is an entirely different scenario though. You better have a steel type on your team, unless you want to die horribly to STAB Draco Meteor/Outrage.
Take Choice Band Garchomp, for instance. If you don't have a steel (preferably Ferrothorn) type to tank the 537 power Outrage it's gonna spam, you're gonna be crying.
Eh, we'll see how different the meta is come Gen VI. It'll be interesting, that's for sure.

Oh yeah, I don't get much into the competitive battling. But I can see you point.I used a Ferrothorn on the Battle Subway and they are quite a staller.
But we don't really know much about the Fairy type, but as it stands I don't think it has a Dragon resist. So unless they add an OP Steel/Fairy type, they might not be able to take many hits.

The reason Ferrothorn is used so much in competitive play is b/c it only has 2 weaknesses(one of which is neutralized in rain), it 4x resists Dragon, and is massive annoying to face. The array of support moves it has access to is crazy.
And honestly, i just want more info on the games themselves. I've honestly never wanted a Pokemon game as bad as i do these.

I didn't know it 4x resists Dragon. I knew about the other things though.
And yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Not really sure why though, but it might be because the battles are actually 3D instead of the normal 2D.

you know, after all the raving, and all the nerdgasms thrown at it, I was expecting more from Witcher 2.
Sure, the graphics are gorgeous.................. if you have a PC that can handle the game at above min. if you don't, then you have to play with everything on low and then it looks worse than cardboard. Unlike other games such as Hitman Absolution, Crysis 2, or Tomb Raider 2013, all of which I also played on min and they still looked awesome.
The combat is clunky, boring, and tedious. And no this is not due to difficulty, although that is part of the reason. Its just not engaging, and the controls SUCK, more than once I was fighting more my controls than the enemies themselves. The QTEs are DREADFUL, I got stuck at an easy sequence early on because the damned QTE kept screwing me over.
The plot which has been hailed over and over as Uber-mature awesome and badass, is only coming across as convoluted, confusing, and down-right boring.
Granted, there's still a lot of game to cover I'm only like half-way through chapter 1, so its entirely possible the story picks up its tempo later on, but what I've seen so far? not impressed. At all. And the supposedly more "Mature" aspect of it? well they curse a lot, but that's as far as it goes.
As excited as I was to play this game, I must say so far I've only had disappointments.

Well i'm not actually sure if Ferro 4x resists Dragon, i think only Steel resists Dragon, not grass as well.
But his typing only leaves him with 2 weaknesses...which is kinda broke.

Well it could be more the fact there's like no counterplay vs Dragon moves. Besides Steel, but eck (lol Fire Blast, Focus Blast, and god knows what else you can think of to deal with that $%^& while you Dragon Claw/Dragon Rush everything else to death).
But it REALLY didn't need to be called Fairy type. Why not call it "Fey" type or something mystical that conveys the same concept without sounding well...overtly whimsical?

Yeah. And there are several others that also have only 2 weaknesses. But I think it's all the resistances it gains from it's typing that makes it much more broke. There are only 4 types that deal regular damage, flying, bug, ground, and ice, and then the other 2 weaknesses. Doesn't leave a whole lot of room for attackers to do decent damage.
But I agree with Interest, using something else would have been better.
And I wonder what an M-rated pokemon game would be like, lulz.

@#$% Focus Blast, that is all. 70% accuracy my ass. More like 0.07% There is no move i hate more than Focus Blast.
And Steel isn't so much a counter as a failsafe. Most Dragon types have some way to deal with steel types. the only thing that stops a Dragon type cold is probably priority STAB Ice Shard, or a Choice Scarf'd Dragon on the opposing team.
Oops, there i go into a competitive mindframe again.

A nice chart showing all the games at E3.
I'm a little surprised they're making FIFA 14 for the PS2.

Wow. Very helpful chart. Now I know I shouldn't even bother hoping for a Golden Sun 4 =(

FYI, one of the CDPROJEKT RED devs has released a mod for Witcher 2 that he personally made. It completely overhauls a lot of the mechanics. It also adds some
new animations
(that were made by the animation guys at CDPROJEKT) and functionalities that have been advertised for Witcher 3 (pirhouettes instead of rolls in more difficult combats). I actually started a fresh playthrough yesterday night, I want to check it out.
Check here
if you want to read the complete changelog. Warning, the mod was released
yesterday
and the website is under
massive
load.

Tell me how it is. Considering the summer sale is coming up, I might pick it up if it's said to be good.

...I would recommend you pick the game up even if that mod wouldn't exist, but sure. Just don't expect me to play it anytime soon, there is going to be a special event in Warframe this weekend.
