I've been playing boomkin for a few years, i'm at an ilvl of 347, but still pulling less dps now than i did back in wrath.... I've been trying to find a new rotation, but everything i find is from pre-cata. Any advice would be appreciated.... that delete button is starting to look more and more shiny and pretty.
Right now i'm basically following the same old rotation from wrath.
faerie fire x 3 > moonfire (get lunar shower 3) > insect swarm > wrath until proc > starfire
I'm hitting star surge when it proc's, starfall if 2 or more mobs, i use thorns constantly too.
rinse and repeat.
thanks!

According to the recent simulations, rotating clockwise results in higher DPS than rotating counter-clockwise.

I might be taking a bit of a deportation from the norm as Thror has decribed, but I prefer equal part clockwise and counterclockwise. It keeps blizzard from nerfing us Boomers.

I politely disagree sir. I prefer a single counterclockwise rotation after every seventh clockwise rotation.

I have heard that people that are pre-spinning for boss fights are gonna get hit by the nerf bat.

Unfortunately caster DPS cannot cast while facing away from the targeted enemy.
Though this is not to be confused with 'Spin The Dragon'.
