Can anyone accurately describe to me how caster form attack power is calculated? Meaning unbuffed no form AP calculation.
I've searched and searched everywhere and found nothing.
I currently have 169 strength and I am a worgen lvl 85 druid. Feral AP is easy to calc caz it's (2*(agility - 10) right? Let me know if you need any other information.
Any formulas/links/articles w/e will be helpful, thanks for reading!

Why?
You plan on smacking people with your staff?
What do you hope to gain?
also..
I've searched and searched everywhere and found nothing.

Lol at your google, if you actually look at the calculations for example on the 1st result. The calculation does not work on live stats. If you keep looking through the results you get to the wowpedia result which has the potential to be updated but curse network is down.
Why is caster form attack power important? Caz if you're making bis profiles you need to know the caster form AP in order to use mew's cat sim which has the most accurate cat simulation because mew updates his scripts constantly. Not to mention his team updates Toskk formulations. I actually found the answer through some discussions on the blizz class forum. A lot more useful than you. The formula for those wanting to know is .
Edit: That calculation is for 4.1 just to clarify.

Which seems largely pointless considering the changes inbound round the corner with the patch.
.
seems unlikely that ^ is all that will change.
And shouldn't Agi be in there somewhere?

No, greywolf. The AP from Agility only applies while in Bear or Cat form, and the patch notes seem to indicate that the only way that formula will change with 4.2 is to remove the "*2" modifier to the Str-10 value.

Ditto, and @foleynuts the formula for the mew values is . That's why it says "That calculation is for 4.1 just to clarify."

Not sure why you felt the need to tell me that.
Because you might not have known... duh.
Don't look some true information in the mouth like you might consider looking at a gifted horse's mouth. Sage wisdom.

And a flaming kitty staff.
Yeah, this more than anything. I don't look forward to grinding the daily hub, but getting a flaming kitty staff will make it easier to bear. Get it, to bear? Achachachacha.
