My favorite memory in WoW is probably doing Kara with my my friends back in BC. Our MT would always be drunk either before the raid started or would definitely be drunk by the end of the night. Every week, we would joke around while clearing and often do silly things like have our pallies Divine Intervention healers or tanks on trash pulls, or see how many AFK people we could kill with flesh beasts after the Chess event. We were terribly bored of Kara every week but doing it with friends made it something to look forward to.
My favorite memory in wow was being one of the first hunter's on my server to recieve the Ancient Petrified Leaf and embarking on my Epic Hunter Quest. The demon's were quite difficult and preparation was a must. I remember distinctly setting out of Ironforge on my Ram all alone, thinking about the amazing adventure that laid before me. The Lore of the quests, and the intimacy of the solo content has made that particular quest line and moment in WoW my most memorable. Also, standing around Ironforge pimpin my new bow/staff wasn't too shabby either!
My favorite memory...Standing in the Sewers in Dalaran, having just lost yet another arena with my friend from the very start. We didn't care too much about the rating back then, just about having loads of fun, no matter the wins or losses. All of a sudden - This orc shaman comes running, challenges me to a duel.I win him, but not by much - It was a very close duel.We start talking, and here we are now - Best friends ever since.
When i joined WoW i was about 9 years old, i saw my bigbrother and his friends play it, and i wanted to be just like. As a 10 year old i got a little better at the game, but i SUCKED at collecting gold. 30 gold was alot for me. And that was in Vanilla WoW, so you can imagine how hard it was to get a epic ground mount. I had collected about 200 gold, and just as i thought i hade no hope to get that awesome armored horse, it became my birthday, and my big brother gave me 400 gold as a present. I was so happy, and i finally got my epic mount! Me and my brother has been closer ever since, and always Roleplayed, killing dragons or just chatting on WoW (even tho were 5 meters from eachother). THE END.(ps. this story is true)
I have to say may favorite single experience playing was when I gliched into Ebon Hold pre-Wrath release on my hunter on his flying mount. I was sitting at my desk at work when it happened so I couldn't get too loud but I ran and grabbed all my work wow buddies/guildmates and sent the screenshot to all of them..... Had that as my background for almost a year.
During vanilla, I was around level 20+ and needed 1g to learn some crucial spell. I asked in org's general chat for 1g and several people whispered me. They said that I should go earn it myself, begging on general chat isn't good for my reputation. I was fairly new to the game and I really did not know how to earn that 1g quickly. Someone whispered me, that he would give me 1g if I would dance naked for him. Being an undead female, i felt that request was abit peculiar. I mean who enjoys seeing a pile of naked bones move? So I was invited to the party and proceeded to /dance and take off whatever greens that i have blocking my sexy bony physique. After dancing and emoting with some trolls and taurens for half an hour, I was finally given that 1g. A few days later i realized, it really was faster questing to get that 1g and forgoing that spell while gaining experience at the same time. Ever since then, I've been diligently questing and got my loremaster way before cataclysm hit =]
After three long years of farming, the Ashes of Al'ar dropped for our retro raid. I'm told I squealed like a little girl when I won. Five weeks later I'm still smiling.
my favourite wow moment was achieving my 100 mounts and getting my blue dragonhawk, still one of my most favourite mounts
Nothing can beat the original Blackrock Mountain experience. Both sides funneled into 2 entrances to access UBRS/MC/BWL made it a huge stomping ground for all rogues and druids (or even guys who like to hide in walls!)I sorely miss those world pvp battles that grew and grew as more and more people needed their deaths avenged. South Shore/Tarren Mill would be a close second :)
My fondest memory of WoW is definitely when I sent my best friend the "Twelve Days of Random Junk" right before Christmas. Everyday for the twelve days before Christmas, I sent her a useless, gray item with a funny note. Her comments to my various, random gifts were hilarious and I still remember her smile when I saw her in person after the first gift.
My favorite memory from Wow was when i met my girlfriend, we met playing fighting in honor hold (hellfire peninsula) wow 3 years ago, i was in horde side, and she was in alliance side, she's a warrior human, and me a tauren shaman, after that epic battle is ended, i create a alliance character and we start to talking every days, and surprise she live in my own city, and we met in real life 2 years ago, today we have 1 year as a couple, and probably will get married next year, now we play together like a mage and priest (horde, yep i win =P)
