hi everyone.
thought I would make a Druid tanking "guide".
TALENTS.
ok, the talent tree u gonna choose is Feral. now as Feral is both tank and melee dps tree for druid, there is some talents u really wanna avoid as tank and some u really need.
Raid spec #1(With increase dmg done)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#0ZfMGrRubzrckMczRaid spec #2(without increase dmg done)
http://www.wowhead.com/talent#0ZfMGbRubzrckMcdGLYPHS
Prime: Berserk-Mangle-Lacerate
Major: Maul-Barkskin/Rebirth/Frenzied regeneration/Faerie fire
Minior: Challangin Roar-Unburdened rebirth-Mark of the wild
Itemization
when acquiring items, get items who got atleast mastery or crit on it, these are your best secondary stats atm. as Druid tanks dont need hit or expertise, try to avoid items with those stats on it.
Druids also got 2 Attackpower from 1 strenght, so having rings/neck/back with Str and dodge on it was alot better then rings with agil on it. but in 4.2 this will change, you will only get 1 attackpower from 1 strenght, so now rings/neck/back with agil + mastery/Crit is alot better then str + dodge.
So a "perfect" tanking item will have Stamina, agil, crit and mastery on it.
Rotation:
Single target:
Charge(when possible)-faerie fire-lacerate-Maul-mangle-Laceratex2-pulverize
Prio:
Pulverize(when 3 stacks of lacerate)
laceratex3
maul
mangle
Trash(if u got rage for it)
AoE:
swipe-trash-berserk-spam tab+mangle.
Numbers and caps.
Druid tanks, unlike other tanks Only have 1 avoidance stat, dodge.
therefore we wannt to aim to have around 30% dodge for HC´s and around 35% for starting raids.
HIT: cap for hit is 8% but you dont wanna aim to get that as u most likely wont need it.
expertise: Expertise cap is around 6-7% but same here, dont aim for it since it wont be needed.
Gemming.
Red socket: 20 agil + 30 stam
Yellow socket: 20 dodge + 30 stam/40 dodge (67 if your JC)
Blue socket: 20 dodge + 30 stam/ or 101 stam if your JC
remember that not all Items are worth geming for socket bonuns, etc if the socket bonus is 10 haste, dont even think about gemming for socket bonus as haste is crap. items with 10 agil, can be worth gemming socket bonus for, while items with 20 agil you should always gem for socket bonus.
Enchanting:
Head: 90 stam + 35 dodge ( earthen ring rep)
back: 250 armor/22agil(wotlk enchant)
chest: 20 stats/75 stam (cheap: 15 stat)
wrist: 50 dodge.
weapon: Windwalk(cheap: Mending)
Gloves: 65 mastery(cheap 50 mastery)
Belt: extra socket
legs: 195 stam 35 dodge(Comming in 4.2)
feet:30 stam + increase movement speed/or 50 mastery
rings(if enchanter): 60 stam
Reforge.
get dodge on every item, always reforge away the weaker stat.
Best in slot pre t11 raids
Head: Tsanga´s helm(Drops from trash in Bastion of twilight)
Neck: Pendant of the Lightless grotto(Drops in stonecore HC)/Don Rodrigo´s Fabolous Neckless
Shoulder: Embrace of the night(bought with 1650 JP)

Not to be rude, but we already have a fantastic, in-depth, well formatted guide by Thror
here. Yours on the other hand is well... utter crap. Giving it a quick read through you were even suggesting that strength jewlery was better than agility jewlery pre-4.2. That's not even true.
Basically, if you want to write a guide, first, make sure there's need of one, second make sure
all of your information is correct (there are several other wrong pieces of information here) and third, format the damn thing so it's readable.
