I don't usually do this and I know there are a crap ton of threads already like this, but I just got another gem of a spam mail. I haven't seen this one before today, so read on and have some lulz on me. Oh, and this is directly copy-pasted; every fail is shown here exactly as it appeared in my mailbox.
hello!
Recently, the problem of account invasion is getting worse and worse which cause enormous player's equipments and virtual currency stolen. This severely damages the benefits of mass players, also causes our company lose a lot of customers.
Our company has to adopt some measures to safeguard our common benefits in order to strengthen the safety of mass player's accounts, and firmly resist the account to be stolen again. Through our company's research and investigation to xxx customers, we will make the following decisions: we launch a package of updated Battle.net Mobile Authenticator and dynamic code protection card which can effectively prevent the accounts invaded. We will send this package of code protection system to players free of charge.
Please open this connection:
<link removed>
If your account passes the check successfully, we will send this package of dynamic Battle.net Mobile Authenticator to you in the form of e-mail.
In 3 days after you receiving the e-mail, if you don't submit your information, we have right to freeze your account, every player is obligated to protect the safety of the account. You must work together with us to be determined to crack down all the behaviors of destroying games.
If you had already authenticator your account, please disregard this automatic notification.
Regards,
The World of Warcraft Support Teams
Blizzard Entertainment 2011
Edit: Point taken, Squish.
:)
(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Squishalot##DELIM##Ok, I know that the link if copied/pasted is relatively safe (I'm assuming the malicious bit was in the HTML code underneath the link), but I don't want people to get into the habit of thinking that it's ever acceptable to copy/paste links from spam emails onto the forums. Please don't encourage that.

That's not too bad considering some I've gotten =P Mostly I just post them in the RB though.

Yeah, those are generally better off in the RB.
Anyway, that is just terrible. I mean... really? Basic grammar? No? Account "invasions"? Dynamic authenticators?
Really
?

Don't forget the fact that it doesn't state the name you gave to Blizzard, which is the easiest way to identify if it's real or not.
Also, to everyone who thinks removing links from copy/pasted spam makes it safer - it doesn't. Anyone who clicks on a link in a quoted e-mail that's
known
to be a phishing attempt is probably just as likely (if not more so) to click on the links in a phishing e-mail that they get themselves.

I know. It's more the point that if the OP does it and gets away with it, then others will do it, and one of them will inadvertantly copy an actual spam link onto our forums, which users may click on. Yes, those that do may be likely to commit internet suicide at some point in the future when they receive the spam themselves, but I (and I'm sure the rest of the team here) would probably prefer it not to see it happen on our forums.

This ^
If it doesn't give you your original account name (like, for people like me, your account name before the Bnet merger), it's a fake. They will always contact you by name.

Yeah, Bilzzard told me the other week that I won a free mount as a loyalty reward.
And some level one whispered me asking if I needed gold. I told them if they get a profession and do a few quests they will soon have much gold! Played dumb, acted like I thought they were asking ME to give them gold. Never fails to amuse.

I still like the ingame:
"Your account is complaints by players."
message. Trolling morons is fun.

That's...pretty bad English lmao.
(Most of my received scam emails are bad too, but not even remotely close to this).

My favorite is still the reference to their xxx customers. I'm pretty sure porn stars have better things to do than play WoW. Yeah, pretty sure.

My personal favourites are the phishing mails, with their hilariously long URLs. One that showed up today (on the mail account I use exclusively for signing up to forums & websites, curiously): us.battle.login.admin.au.support.ca.batttlle.com
Needless to say, don't copy+paste it.

Oh, and this was sent to the email address that was attached to my account before it got hacked a year ago (thinking that was the fault of using a friend's computer who insists on installing only Internet Explorer). After I got my account back, changed the email and got an authenticator.
