stampeding roar also breaks roots on a 2min cd, and dash is, what, 2.4 mins glyphed
i would really wait till 1.5-1.8k rating to make any solid decision, if you have gear for both, cuz the higher rating you get the more skilled and more op class comps you'll run into and they may expose something in either spec you didnt know was a weakness. just my 2cents tho, not an arena junkie

I've got some points that may explain why Boomkins are considered in a weaker state than feral atm:
Moonkins have no dispell protection, and I believe a lot of their damage comes from their dots.
Like Asahunt said, Moonkins need to be in eclipse in order to maintain high dps. When not focused, a Moonkin should be able to pull of craploads of damage, but when they are focused and interrupted, they tend to linger. Also: (I'm not that familiar with Moonkins), but if they interrupt your Nature school, then you will only be able to cast arcane spells - which wont help the eclipse states at all.
Ferals have instant cyclones serveral times, making it more of a surprise. However, moonkins have shorter casting time and longer range on theirs. Both are good, though, but I just love the instant ones! :)
Ferals also have more survivability, due to Survival instincts and faster movement. Moonkins may have better armor, but that's most of the time not enough. :/
