ilvl355 with no raiding on my rogue, dps of all toons, until last night when I picked up a Belt from BoT! 1-shotted everything in there (god knows what it would be in BWD, probably same) - suddenly I'm having flashbacks of WoTLK/BC days where we just stream rolled through everything. Being able to buy T11 gear with JPs and 353s from Za/zg runs kind of is just makes this too easy but ahh well not complaining.
~5yrs on this game 7 toons later, 8th toon on it's way, the thing that keeps me going is new content , new bosses, new loot... It's almost as if Blizzard is on my timeline! Wonder when I'm ever going to quit this god forsaken game? Still waiting for D3 to come out! Will ya hurry up blizz! lol!
Do you think that was a bad idea for blizz to give us the ability to buy epics with JPs?
My answer:
The idea is great but the amount it takes to get them could use some tuning out. 2200 JPs for 1 T11 item doing Za/ZG run (which already gives you 353s) is just a tad bit too easy but then again I guess that's just me? I think that it would be a lot better to work harder for them like maybe 3500 JPS would be sufficient IMO gives the player more chances to learn there class before they step in the raid.

Well, the 4.0 raids received a ton of nerfs so it's no suprise you oneshotted it all.

it's nice to be able to gear alts without the same time investment as your main. plus less-skilled players will be able to get these upgrades so they can outgear the raid bosses they are stuck on and maybe see more raid content.

And yes, the Tier 11 raids are easy....because they are old content now.

THIS
I have to say, this is the one thing that really gets me angry more than anything else.
They were emblems, not badges. Badges died a long time ago with the Burning Crusade

I still say badges sometimes. I've switched mostly to JP because it's faster to type but I still sometimes say badges.

The problem is Blizzard allowing players to buy epics just dumbs down the player base.
Not forcing players to gear up in raids has started a chain of events that just
makes everyone entitled and whiny
.
Despite being "geared" the raids are still too hard for many. Some people just have never had to learn to play these days, so they go crying to Blizzard. Then you get global nerfing.
Its a vicious cycle. It kills the game, we still have 3 pretty damn good raids that very few have cleared on Heroic mode. (or even regular) Now with "badger :) " content these will just be ignored because why the hell try get a group when you can just grind dailys or randoms and buy good enough gear to get you into Firelands.
/end rant
Enabling bad players = Bad game.
You mean like how your being whiny?

Play only with smart players at all times, problem solved and no consequence to you. Join a pug though and you are subject to the luck of the draw just like everybody else.

Please refer to my first suggestion. Also your entire post comes off as "entitled and whiny"
/end observation
