I just got back after 8 months of inactivity, and decided dust off my old Shaman and do some PvP. I can, however not find any information regarding what priorities I should have that is updated for 4.2. The only thing I've manage to figure out is that I want Spirit.
Main Stat
Meta/Gems
Enchants
Talents
Glyphs
Thanks in advance.

That was beyond helpful - it was exactly what I've been looking for the last two days of searching!
I think you forgot to mention Spell Penetration though. (From what I've been told most Shamans pick the
Cloak
and toss an
enchant
on it for the cap.)
Thanks a lot for the reply.
Also, thank you for explaining
why
those stats are important.
EDIT: Why the
Thunderstorm
glyph? :)

A few notes...
Spirit is great, but it begins to lose its value at around 2.5k even in pvp. When you begin to get high in spirit then you'll have to judge for yourself if you need more mana regen or more output.
Yes, we need spell pen and the cloak alone is enough to negate the main resistances like Resistance aura and totem. (That number is 195)
Don't socket a full secondary stat like +40 haste. Socket a gem with +20 and +20 haste; it generates more output than the secondary stat alone.
You may consider putting Focused Insight into your spec depending on how you play. If you find yourself using shocks a lot then the bonus healing is very nice. I enjoy using it, personally, and if you hit the hit/spell pen caps then why not; it's bonus healing every 6 seconds.
I think he just threw in 3 minor glyphs to fill it out because all of them are useless within the arena.

Can you care to give me a build with Focused Insight for casual BG?
I'm asking 'cause I really don't know what to leave, starting from Luckyinktimbo12 build.
I'm a new resto shaman and finding some resto PVP build updated for 4.2 was as difficult as OP said so...
...thank you both guys!

I, personally, took points from Tidal Force because I use my shocks enough that it is a gain in terms of mana. The other options that would work are to take points out of Totemic Reach and Blessing of the Eternals and use the spare point to fill Nature's Guardian, and the other is to take the points from Ancestral Awakening. It is your choice based on your gear and play style.
