Your gear's fine, a bit low on the hit, but it's should do since you're tanking heroics. Your spec is fine too, just remember to use a self-target Death Coil macro so you don't throw Death Coils at your enemy instead of yourself while using Lichbourne. Everything else is in the big long sticky on tanking which would probably explain why you're so squishy to healers. Go through it, compare what it says to what you do, and go from there.

You two are worse at posting constructively than the OP is at tanking.
Nice to know I achieved my goal.
@OP Pro Tip number 1: The "Helpful Threads" are there for a reason. Go read them before asking for blanket help.

those helpful threads are out of date best to go to ej, but as a dk tank i can tell you all you need to do is stack mastery forget about hit and exp unless you are having threat issues, where you cant stack mastery go for avoidance, make sure you use your defensive cds (which you say you do) and
game RE procs
this is important and somewhat difficult at first but helps a lot umm lichborne sacrifice ghoul rune tap vampblood, not necessarily in that order, are good

No they arent. Orranis's tanking guide is uptodate, so is my frost guide, and unholy hasnt seen any changes since 4.0.3.

I think his main problem is that in Orranis's guide there is not priority listed, or an opening sequence, or a talent build. And the other tanking guide, which does have that, that info is out dated due to change in how Scarlet Fever is applied. It doesn't help people who have basic problems.
