How to split dps on beth'tilac successfully ?

So I spent about 20 minutes writing something out. Then we lost power in the office, and now its gone.
What language do you speak? Maybe I could get on a ventrilo server tonight or tomorrow and just talk to you.
I speak English and Spanish fluently, with a poor amount of conversational Chinese.

To fix this particular problem, you can keep your warrior down in the third round of phase one (the one right before she comes down). Having a couple adds up when Beth recharges is really a non-issue, having a couple adds down when she comes down permanently is.

Good, I can hijack this thread.
I guess part of the problem is I don't really understand this fight very well. Took first shot at it tonight a couple times only having done a cursory perusal of tankspot write up, while rep farming waiting on Shannox. At least I got an Ember from him, yay for Dragonwrath quest.
Anywho:
Avg semi-raider guild, earned Defender "legitimately" (pre-nerf) but didn't get much into Hard Modes.
Then had a couple sloppy weeks, people away for work, or busted comps or no net. >.<
Basically all 360's now though, with some new BoE/quest rewards now.

It was decided that the pallys and the spriest go topside. Can't say I really understand that, RL changed his mind like 4 times walking up, and I swear we speak two dialects of english sometimes. he's the kitty of all things.
My problem is, down on the bottom, it just feels like there's more to kill than we can pump out. Or we're focusing on the wrong things, or not combining burn force properly.
Like, do the Spinners have to die? Or do they need to just be brought down? Do they continue doing the cast or not, I've heard it told both ways.
What happens with the Drones? I noticed that they'd retreat when a second one spawned in. Like maybe 10 seconds after. But they need to die for the 2nd phase, as I read on tankspot.
Spiderlings obviously have to die, but stopping them seems rather trivial with 2 trapshotters. Just a PITA healthpool to burn through.
Are we just getting the damage spread too thin? Killing in the wrong order? Sub-optimal class/spec choice? Like I'm not terribly certain why the one hunter is BM now, was Surv for t11.
And then P2 is just patchwerk-burn, right?

I don't know if it's still true that spriests have poor AoE, but a ranged dps that doesn't have the strongest aoe is not the worst choice for up top. Especially if they can leave a lot of Dots ticking on Beth while they have to stay down to avoid getting exploded.

They do significantly more damage while hanging from the web. Pull them down immediately (even when you don't need more ways for people to climb up), but for the most part cleaves done to them while being tanked with the drone should keep them under control.

They don't retreat. They go up to drain energy from Beth when they run out themselves, pushing her into phase two faster.

This is not a critical problem unless a) spiderlings are reaching drones, b) raid members are dying, or c) drones are heading to Beth. If you have a couple spinners up when the people up top come down temporarily, or you're still finishing off the last drone or whatever, big deal.
For the third and final time the top people go up, consider keeping one of the two DPS down to ensure that everything is dead when phase two begins. There's nothing stopping someone going up the first two times, pounding Beth as hard as they can, and then staying down the third time to ensure a smooth transition.
