Ok I finally said it was time to really learn the druid. She is now level 40 but I have to say I am so confused on what to get for her gear. I read agility is good and don't get strength. I am solo questing so it has been trying at times. I also know when i get to Hellfire I will need to fight for my life since a few areas gave my hunter issues. Right now I have stacked on my agility and stamina and i went with a weapon with the same. I have done Enchants with agility and used armor kits. I am not sure what enchant to put on my weapon so I am asking for tips please. I went feral so I am asking for tips please. Yes I have read all the threads but am still lost because so much has changed. I really want to play my druid and not have to call for help. I am so use to playing my hunters that i want to make the change and finally start working with another toon. I am sorry if am asking dumb advice that I should already know but I don't and I am so confused with all the nerf in the patches and stuff. When I first made my druid it was 10 months ago. So I apologize in advance.

General "gear selection" advice -- If I were you, I'd grab this addon:
Pawn
Load up a custom stat value list with some 4.2 stat values (you could probably use the built-in ones if you don't want the hassle of loading your own), and it will tell you whenever an item is an upgrade. It's not foolproof, but any mistakes it makes will be small ones.
Specifically, while leveling, just look for gear with a lot of Agility. Agility is like 3 times better than any other stat, so you can't go too wrong by just tunnel visioning on it. At level 40, there's not too much need to get a weapon enchant (you probably won't hold any one weapon for long), but these are probably the best, by weapon level:
Level 1 - 34:
Agility
Level 35 - 59:
Major Agility
Level 60 to Item Level 300:
Massacre
or keep
Major Agility
.
Item Level 300+:
Mighty Agility

ilvl 35 - 300 could also be mongoose as an enchant if you dont mind a proc

WoW you helped me a lot :) I was so afraid I was going to screw up stacking the agility. I do OK as a cat and I do notice if i have more then 1 bad person on me I need to go to bear form. which doesn't lose life as fast. In my cat form I do lose life fast and I have to heal A LOT.. I picked up Jewel-crafting because i can put a totem down to heal and fight. When I do my points is there something specific i need to stack them in.. Hope that made since sorry if it did not...

As a kitty, you have some defensive cooldowns such as Barkskin and Survival Instincts. Keep them handy and use them if you need to!
A fairly competant player will always be mindful when pulling mobs -> watch for patrols and pull one by one if you have trouble killing more than one at a time.

as far as I understood, he was asking for some sort of ideal spec. Well,
this
will take you to 85 quite nicely. The feral talents that aren't taken are either for dungeons and raids or tanking, so less important for soloing. Ofcourse if you dual spec into a bear spec you can solo a few group quests along the way ;-)
Edit: added glyph suggestions for soloing.

I found out the hard way the one by one :) I also have critical strike on my items but I see others do haste and dodge. Am only 42 so should i switch or does it matter being am feral. I have been staying away from strength. Guess you can say I have been fixing her up like my hunter. I hope I didn't screw up.

Secondary stats while levelling doesn't matter much, unless you are tanking or healing and are actively looking for better performance in dungeons.
Just focus on Agility leather. There shouldn't be too many times where you have to choose between 2 items due to secondary stats. In those cases, Crit, haste or even AP will be fine choices.

I got that Pawn for curse it is a good app :) i saw where it says if i trade paints it is a 1% upgrade for a feral druid I do lose 11 haste so does that mean it is ok to take the new item since haste isn't something i need.
