It's low level. Shaman's are pretty powerful healers with just a couple button presses. At least when the damage is laughable like BC/WotLK. Specially if everyone is in heirlooms.
Same principle as to why resto is ridiculous in PvP.
Other day, tried it for giggles, took 4 people and spell locking me to take me down. And I didn't have a stitch of resil on.
ES and Riptide are just that kind of good.

I actually have a paladin, shaman and priest all at 85, frankly druids are boring to me. Yesterday or the day before I wrote on a post about how boring low level healing is on a shaman. I dont think it gets better until the cata dungeons to be honest. I actually like it the most however because it really is pick up and play. I think that for most people shaman healing is probably the easiest. Riptide is pretty much the only hot, keep it up on tank. Earth shield...always on tank...healing wave, at the end of 4.1 was essentially a free heal mana wise. You have 2 aoe heals with healing rain and chain heal...a couple of direct heals and a cleanse. If all you used was a number pad and a mouse it would be feasible to heal as a shammy. I have a naga mouse and I have all of my main heals on the number pad on the side of it.
