Replacing my tier

I have a quick question on when the T11 4pc bonus will become less desirable than having the teir 12 stuff. I'm raiding with a guild right now that I really won't have access to the 4pc T12 bonus anytime soon. Obviously, I can get my three pieces though. So my question is when/if should I start replacing some of the T11 stuff with T12? Wait until I have access to the 2pc bonus for both? I'm a little reluctant to give up the 4pc bonus though. I mean, an extra 6 seconds on SI has saved me multiple times. Any and all help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Its like this, 2T11 is a throughput increase, 4T11 is a regen increase. 2T12 is a regen increase, 4T12 is a throughput increase. So break your 4T11 when you get your 2T12 imo.
Uhh.. I should have noticed that SI bit. You're talking feral tank bonus. I assumed you were asking about resto, oops.

From SI, I'm guessing this is feral tanking.
2 pieces: Your attacks with Mangle, Maul, and Shred deal 10% additional damage as Fire damage over 4 sec.
4 pieces: Your finishing moves have a 20% chance per combo point to extend the duration of Berserk by 2 + (20 * ComboPoints) sec and when your Barkskin ability expires you gain an additional 10% chance to dodge for 12 sec.
Barkskin becomes a far longer, but minor, cooldown. To me, this looks better because:
1. The increased chance to dodge means more in the long run, because those extra 6 seconds wont mean much in the end. At least in my experience, those heavy damage phases either doesn't last long enough to make the tier 11 set worth it, or they come so often that SI wont cover it anyway.
2. The prolonged effects from Barkskin gives a better damage mitigation, that can help healers through the tougher phases, or in general throughout the whole fight.
3. And of course, the stat differences will be there too, ultimately making upgrading it worth it no matter how you look at it.
Of course, tier 12 2-piece doesn't give much to your survival. If it really bothers you, don't change till you can get your hands on the 2-piece bonus. This shouldn't really be much of a problem anyway, as there are plenty of other things to upgrade with Valor points.
Lately, whether you raid or not doesn't make much of a difference, besides the few pieces that can only be obtained through raids. The cap is so ridiculously easy to reach, just by doing Zandalari Heroics.

See, that's what I was thinking. There's eventually going to be a point where the better stats of the new tier outweighs the 4pc bonus of the old tier. I just wasn't sure when/if that was.
Maybe I didn't make it clear though that I won't be getting even a shot at my 4pc bonus for the next couple months. I raid with a group of...well really really casuals. Which is fine with me, I got sick of raiding 5 nights a week 4 hours a night. They're not the best group so I doubt I'll be seeing Staghelm or Rag until a nerf comes along.
So, I should pick up 2 T12 and replace the T11 so I can at least have the 2-2pc bonuses? That's what seems to be making the most sense to me.

Well, the only problem I can see with a 2-2 setup, is that neither bonus grants a boost to your survivability. It's pure threat. That's not nessesarily a bad thing, but I think it's worth considering when choosing upgrades. Taking the odd-pieces and the non-tier items first,
can
be a better option for now.
I'm not sure how the tier 12 2p bonus fits into the damage increase though. For bears, it seems a bit more significant than for cats, but that's because I'm not sure how much you lose by cutting the DoT.
