What he said. No good raiding guild is going to let you run with them if you aren't gemmed and enchanted. Gems can be had fairly cheaply, if you ask some guild people to help you. The base cost of Elementium Ore > prospect > transmute the uncommons to rares > cut gems is very cheap. I buy the ore off the AH for 20-30g a stack and make 300-500% profit by selling them on the AH. Ask a guild JC if they'll sell you the cuts at cost. Enchants are much cheaper now, and there is usually many cheaper enchants you can put on pieces you think you'll replace soon: 50 master on gloves instead of 65, 15 stats on chest instead of 20, etc. All of this does take some amount of time or gold to accomplish, but it's not that much. Do your dailies or farm something and make the effort.

The "green" gems offer slightly lower stats than the "blue" ones for a much lower cost.
For example, on my realm:
Delicate Carnelian
costs 12g (2.5g per agility).
Delicate Inferno Ruby
costs 300g (the 10 additional agility are 28.8g each, compared to the green gem).
Most of the enchants have "cheaper" versions too.
You should definitely have gems and enchants before you jump into raiding, but if you truly are replacing your gear constantly, then these green gems offer a cheap way to run at 75%. But realistically, you should be trying to make each slot as good as it can be, the costs aren't so high as to give an excuse for not doing this for gear you wear more than 1 week.

I'd say its pretty safe to enchant when you have a 346 or a crafted in the slot.

Don't try to buy enchant scrolls or leg armors off of the AH. It's the most expensive way to do it. Buy the enchanting materials themselves and then find an enchanter to do the enchant for you (plus a tip). If your guild has an enchanter, they should be willing to help you in this capacity w/o having to tip them. As for the leg armor mats, here's a tip regarding Pristine Hides. You can buy them yourself from the vendor for the cost of 10 Heavy Savage Leather. (The vendor is over in The Drag of Orgrimmar, in the Leatherworking hut.) The leather is often much cheaper than the hide, in the AH. You can even buy 50 Savage Leather and ask a Leatherworker to convert them to Heavies for you, if that's a cheaper option.

Thanks, the only difference was the gloves. I know it's different server to server, but about what is the average price of;
Enchant 2H Weapon - Mighty Agility
Dragonscale Leg Armor
Enchant Chest - Peerless Stats
Those are the three that are the most expensive, and I want to know if the prices are usually that high. Thanks.
These are the average prices on my server, Nazgrel, US, Horde.
Enchant 2H Weapon - Mighty Agility
500 - 800 Gold
Dragonscale Leg Armor
750 G
Enchant Chest - Peerless Stats
1600 G
I am sure the prices vary depending on the amount of Enchanters, Leatherworkers. Just an idea of what a different servers prices are currently. Hope this helps.
