So I'm out farming for some of the new pets and I start to wonder about them a bit. I mean Blizz has came up with these nifty unique challenges to tame these beast. But it seems though that once you tame them these unique attributes seem to go bye bye. And it made me think why? Why do I have to get nekked to tame a new cat because his attack is directly based on my armor but once tamed it really doesn't matter what my enemies armor is set at? How friggin cool would it be to show up in a RBG with Anhka and be able to take out the most beefed up player on the other side in a 1-2 hit combo? Maybe Blizz puts in something to counter that effect that is just as hard (or tricky for a better choice of words) to get as it was to tame the beast in the first place. Or having Deth'tilac that can one shot a mob as it does so easily to my entire guild for the efforts of trying to tame him? Maybe scale it down a bit (like every so often at random he 1 shots an enemy) but give some sort of perk to the hunter that tames them that goes hand in hand with what the hunter had to do to get them in the first place. Especially those playing in real RPG settings. walking around with the baddest spider in Azeroth only for it to have pretty much the same abilities as the lowly spider from TB or something... I mean I love the taming challenges as all things epic should be more difficult to get. But there should be something on the otherside of the tame than just a new skin on the same models. Just my thoughts on it.

Two things:
1. Play balance.
2. Paragraphs.

If they left things like that in the game, we'd be right back where we started:
Every hunter running around with Broken Tooth or .
With all pets being equal (but offering group different buffs), it becomes less "Which pet is the strongest ever?" and more "Which pet will most benefit myself/the party?"
