Greetings people of the L&RP Community.
So,today I saw a guy RP in a rather strange way (Strange for me atleast). My Priest was walking around Orgrimmar checking on the...as he calls it ''The Еthnical City'.As my Priest was wandering around in The Drag he approached the Clift of Shadow.
And there i saw him.A guy named 'Highler'.He was RP-ing as Hitler himeslf! He was from a guild called 'The Third Reich' and around him were more people from that same guild positionned in the form of the Schvastika (If thats how you spell it).He was speaking about a new world order. How the Blood Elves will reighn over the world. How the Sin'dorei will extirpate every other race in the world and how the 'true' race shall dominate over Azeroth.I find this really odd.Can someone really RP as Hitler? Is that allowed?By that logic can someone RP as Jesus?Being pure and kind and finally get tortured and killed?

While not in very good tastes and something I find extremely disturbing, one could indeed have a character that was modeled after Hitler (as, of course, actually having a Germany and WWII in Azeroth dosn't fit with the world and lore). And (again, while not in good tastes) I don't think there's something that actually prevents it. And yeah, you could have a character modeled after Jesus (again, not the real-world/Bible Jesus).

Or as Belloc refers to him, the "furrier."
And fashionists.

If that's what the guild and the character want to RP as, they technically have that right....they'll all get a name change fairly quickly, but still. Look at any paper and pen RPG set after the 1900's; most of those have Zombie Ninja Robot Nazi's usually as a choice. Tasteless...meh.
As for:
2. RPing anyone who has existed in the real world is, unless I'm missing something, completely against the nature of RP. Allegories on the other hand, are less frowned upon. Heh, right. Which is why people make Super Awesome versions of super heroes and super villains in RP's all the time.
