There's only 5 Old Ones on Azeroth; 2 down, one that hasn't been revealed, and two left.
Except, going by the original information, they didn't have monks.
i say this could be another major patch like 4.3 or something, considering that this whole cataclysm thing has pretty much shaken the entire world, our beloved pandaren land (or rather, big island) could very well be affected by deathwing's rage, so now they reveal themselves to the rest of the world once again and seek answers of their own.personally i think the pandarens will just be a new neutral faction, and pandaria will be a new zone with quest hubs and houses a new raid. could the new tier-13's have a very oriental flavor?
This could be blizzards hail mary pass concerning WoW.We have all noticed the stretching in lore that has been happening recently, maybe the devs decided:"Hey, its done. Lets reward all the players with a happy ending" Which would mean an expansion ( but most likely a big patch ) that rewards the players for defeatingDeathwing / Arthas / Kil jeaden (sp) / whichever was the big baddy from vanilla.Maybe "The world is no longer in peril" will lead to the pandarans coming out to bring peace and balance back to the world in a kind of "End to WoW" scenario... bringing peace to the horde and alliancein some way shape or form.I think we would all prefer that if WoW ended, it would be a happy ending like the scenario above... instead of justblizzard going "Wow has ended, we have taken offline the servers, good luck with life" .. since blizz can technicallyjust do that.Well.. just my 2 coppers.
Except we aren't near the level cap yet, and we haven't even started off to fill in the missing heroes, and taking on Sargeras yet. Still a lot left to go for WoW.
