You'll want to check out the stickies on these subjects (at the top of this specific Warrior Forum) and should you see any threads with questions that relate to the trouble or confusion you're currently having, click and scroll away!
Anywho, Blackmojo pretty much covered prot like a bombardment of naplam.
As for #2, the specs have been simplified. They pretty much lobbed off like 40% of the talent trees, leaving you wil 41 talents (@lvl 85) rather than 71 (@lvl 80). Generally, you're gunna be stuck with a "cookie cutter spec", where it varies from person to person marginally. Somebody will fancy some cheaper abilities while someone else will ponder getting better (faster CD, more rage generation) shouts. You'll have to see it for yourself to get an idea of what I'm saying, but if you plan on raiding, do not go with a half PvE, half PvP spec. It wont go over well.
#3, stancedancing is less of a requirement now with how they streamlined the specs, but you will still need to do it for some things like applying Rend to a target or using Overpower when it

procs. Just this last patch, they made it to where Recklessness, Retaliation, and Shield Wall no longer require any specific stance. I'd suggest checking the patch notes just to keep up with what all has recently occured.
Best of luck to ya.

Since 4.2 Arms is pretty low on the dps meters in PvE, but it is still viable (just not amazing). For 5mans though, Arms can blow anything out of the water even in a PvP spec (from personal experience).
One important thing to note for when you pvp: Arms warriors can no longer ping pong, as charge and intercept share a cooldown. Just take intercept off your bars as Arms.
Also, if you're wondering where armor pen went, its been rolled into the Colossus Smash ability, which reduces the targets armor by 100% in pve and 50% in pvp.

Yerp. I will miss my 'ping pong' ability, not to mention ARP. Stupid ARP.... I felt like Gollum with that damn rating. I hates it, but I loves it so. :'<
