Shaman Tanking

Why doesn't Blizzard make Enhancement a tanking class? They've talked about it for years yet never do anything. I think it would be a great change, that way all the dps shammies can go Elemental and can also tank, maybe the ghost wolves can act like a Blood Deathknight Summon Rune Weapon does, by healing you. I have some ideas:
Talents:
Lightning Discharge
- 0/2 When enemies are affected by one of you're lightning shield charges, their attack and casting speed is slowed by 10/20% for 20 seconds.
Earthen Armor
- 0/3 Increases armor by 20%
Primal Power
- 0/3 Increases the threat generated by Primal Strike by 15%
Fiery Defense
- 0/3 You're searing totem hits build a stack of Afterburn on the enemy, decreasing their total damage caused by 1/2/3/%. Stacks up to 5 times.
Spiritual Guardian
- 0/1 After going below 20% health, a spiritual guardian comes to heal the Shaman for 20% of the Shaman's base health and increase the Shaman's healing received by 50% or 12 seconds. This effect cannot occur for more then once every 2 minutes.
Improved Fire Nova
- 0/2 You're Fire Nova has a 50% chance to affect all enemies with the Flame Shock periodic effect.
Spiritual Attunement
- 0/2 Gives a 15% chance that you're Primal Strike and Stormstrike will decrease the remaining cooldown on Feral Spirit by 20 seconds.
Berserking Rage
- 0/2 Decrease the CD on Shamanistic Rage by 5 seconds, and reduces the damage taken by an additional 10%, also increases the duration of the effect by 2.5 seconds.
Glyphs:
Stormstrike
- You're Stormstrike fills you're health in addition to you're base mana.
Chain Lightning
- Causes Chain Lightning to strike all enemies within 40 yards and deal a high amount of threat and be instant cast, but the cooldown is increased to 20 seconds.
Lightning Shield
- When you run out of Lightning Shield charges, it is automatically reset to a total of 12 charges, this effect costs no GCD and passively happens.
(Tweaked some of the abilities)
Abilities:
Stoneclaw Totem
-
Earth Totem
Causes high threat to nearby enemies and redirects it to the Shaman, in addition, redirects all threat caused by the Shaman's other totems.
Healing Spring Totem
-
Water Totem
Heals the Shaman for X amount of health every 3 seconds.
Searing Totem
-
Fire Totem
Deals X fire damage every 3 seconds to the Shaman's target.
Windfury Totem
-
Air Totem
Increases the attack speed of all allies by 10% within 40 yards and decreases the enemy's attack speed by 10%.
Passive Enhancement Skills:
Vengeance
Threat of Thunder
- Increases all threat caused by 20%
Mastery
-
Earthen Vitality
- Each point of mastery decreases damage taken by the Shaman equal to 0.2% of the Shaman's max health, if the Shaman takes damage equal to less then the total defense the mastery provides, then Earthen Vitality does not affect it.
For example: If a Shaman has 100,000 health and 10 points of mastery, this decreases the Shaman's damage taken by 2,000. So if a Shaman takes 1,000 damage from a DoT, Earthen Vitality do not affect the damage, but if a Warrior for example hits the Shaman for 5,000 damage, the Shaman only takes 3,000 damage.
Tell me what you think!

Inb4 Shaman tank is dead.
I, personally, want shaman to be able to tank again. However, I think the way you are going about a lot of this is wrong. Enhancement as a whole shouldn't be only tank. That would actually ruin shaman as a whole for me since enhancement is the blender I have come to love. A lot of shaman don't really like to play elemental (I wrote the guide and actually don't like playing it all that much), so leaving that to be the only dps spec isn't that great.
As for the talents, you seem to want to reduce the actual enemies' damage by too much. It should be more based on a self reduction because almost every raid would want an enhance shaman just to reduce the damage that the boss does as a whole. A lot of it can be taken as quite OP as well. Like the Spiritual guardian looks like a buffed up version of Argent Defender at low health. You could go from 20% hp to 40% and still get increased healing.
The mastery is quite... odd... If you had 50 mastery and you were hit by 10,001 hit, you would only take 1 damage, but if it hit for 10k, you would be hit for 10k? Would damage reductions affect it? By that I mean, if you popped shamanistic rage you would take less damage before your mastery, but more after your mastery because it could effectively be below your mastery defense.
For the glyphs, you want to make stormstrike almost exactly like death strike? It returns hp and mana(runic power). Could imagine an ele shaman getting his hands on that? If there were enough adds, the overloads could crash a server. What would happen if an ele shaman got a hold of the lightning shield for pvp? It gets bumped up to 12 (maybe 9); just stand there and take a beating and deal out a 40k crit through resil when they knock it off.
Those are my opinions on what you have thought up. I did make
my own post
on the subject that was open for criticism. Some flamed and some gave some good ideas. A lot of my talents got quite bulky, but it was in attempt to keep dps in the tree.

Only way I could see it happening is if they ever added a 4th spec to all classes. Or if they some how made enhance kinda like feral. I think it would be to tricky. They way you have it setup makes enhance a tank only spec.

If they change shammy from dps to tank i be a bit irritated. I love my enhancement and i rolled shammy back in vanilla because of that spec. That would destroy my caracter.
In case of such a big change i think we who feel the class destroyde should be compensated, because i would stop and play my shammy and i dont have a nother 85...
That's why I would want it similar to the feral tree so that we could still dps. To be honest, I would probably make my mage my main if enhance became only a tank. However, if the abilities had a nice flow to them and it wasn't a huge change to how we play now, I might consider taking him up as the guild's main tank.

To pick up adds to kite a little easier? I honestly have no idea just like how Bone Shield provides a boost in damage, like they need that extra damage for threat...
