Hi.
I just encountered something I wasn't aware of:
I'm bored and wanted to solo MC with my DK. Logged into my other account and invited my usual lvl 1 raidbuddy.
When I tried to convert to raid it said "Character too low lvl to raid".
When did Blizzard do this? I havent soloed old raids in a while but I did it earlier this year.
Any1 know how low lvl you must be to join a raid? Looked in the patchnotes... but didnt find anything.

I haven't heard anything about this, but the last time I created a level 1 and decided to do something (was bored out of my damn mind) we raided hogger.
It passed the time.

level 10 is when you can do it.
I think they did that at the start of Wrath...

Just ask some of your friends to join in raid group, he/she can even log off and you still stay in raid group.

1) Be at raid instance.
2) Invite someone. Guild member, friend, random person from /who stormwind, whatever.
3) Convert to raid.
4) Zone into Raid.
5) Rightclick Portrait and Remove From Group.
You'll be able to stay in your raid instance. Just keep in mind that if you die or you zone out, you'll need to snag someone else and make it a raid group again to re-enter.

Better yet
1- invite person to raid
2-give them raid lead
3-hop on your own alt
4-invite alt to raid
5-log back onto main

Even better.
1. Snag guildy doing dailies
2. Convert to raid, zone in.
3. Convert to party.

After years of not being able to "undo" converting to a raid, I did not even know there was a "Convert To Party" option.

I don't think there's a button for it, but you can use
/run ConvertToParty()

Mind=blown.
Yeah I do the trick with an alt for soloing raids.

Why is this not better known, this makes life so much easier. Maybe poor hellfire peninsula will stop getting harassed by me now (the number of times i've snagged people from there is so large that people are starting to learn not to ask me why anymore).

There is an option for converting a raid to a party in the context menu when you right-click on the character unit frame.
