What should I be doing next?

Hello all,
I'm pretty confused as to what my Shaman's priorities should be next and would appreciate it if someone could take a quick look at my character and offer some advice.

Specifically I am confused about whether I should keep looking for more agility, reforging (to HIt and Mastery?) or whether there is something else to keep working towards.
Obviously I have loads of enchantments missing but to be honest I've not even thought about them yet. It's the main stats that I'm wondering about for now.
Cheers for now.

It's excellent work by Socergenius and I know that there is lots written about spell hit, melee hit caps etc but it can be extremely confusing for casual players like me. I was wondering what specifically I need to be doing to get to those caps, specifically what my character is missing. I know that for some it all makes perfect sense but it can be quite impenetrable for others.

Look
at this specifically. If you're not at the spell hit cap or expertise cap reforge from haste and crit.

I have read the link of course, it's just I'm not sure where to go to next with my stats. My hit is 1451 but I'm still not clear whether that means I should simply be looking for more agility on items or not. If I can improve my Hit rating through items I will but I'm not much less confused after reading as much about this as I can.

Hehe, you are kind of like my guild leader when it comes to gearing; I can explain it very thoroughly to her, but she'll still be confused at the end. For some, it's just a blur of information.
One thing I notice is that you are skipping expertise a bit. Expertise is another cap we need to hit as enhance; you'll get it by reforging. Most of the places you reforged to mastery, could be reforged to expertise instead to reach that cap. Other than that, you'll just need to get better gear before you can get to the hit cap.

Thanks for the help. I think I've had a hard time understanding that Agility is not the most important priority when it comes to selecting gear. For example, if I found a piece of gear that gives an increase in hit but a decrease in agility I've never chosen it. I've been selecting for agility, as when I started everyone told me to just go for Ag at all times. Does melee hit cap not come into it at all? Just spell hit cap?
I'm still not clear when to stop hunting down Agility boosts as that also seems to raise my hit rating. I guess I continue looking for agility until spell hit cap?
Thanks for the advice re reforging, I'll get on that asap.
I wish this game wasn't so complicated. Bring back Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks...

hoohoo, and you think its complicated now. lol
Agi is always your top priority, no question.
This is the power of the reforger. You take the lesser stats, namely Haste/Crit, and use them to make hit/exp caps with your gear.
The melee hit cap is far under the spell hit cap.
Melee requires 8% for special abilities to never miss a +3 (in relation to yours) level target, such as Raid Bosses (Skull level).
Spells require 17% on the other hand. Or 1742 rating (1639 for you space goats).
Melee and Spells are calculated from the same hit rating, but do not relate the same (Melee takes less rating per 1% i mean), so that when you have reached the spell hit cap, you will have around 20% melee hit. Which is handy, because for WHITE hits (regular whack swings) you need 26% while dual wielding. This is why hit is still ok after the spell hit cap.
You need 26 expertise or 541 rating to never have the Boss dodge your attacks.
Expertise also effects Parry chance, but you should never be infront of the boss if you can help it, so you don't need to worry about that.
Players can't dodge attacks from behind, but Blizz gave the Skull Levels a Spidey Sense.
As your item level goes up, so does the agility. Don't be afraid to roll on something so you can mix and match later. There are usually 2 or 3 pieces (due to hunters) for each slot that you can use for some leeway and getting the appropriate stats.
Your job as dps is to make sure that you can apply as much damage as you can, so its your job to arrange your gear in such a way as to allow the target to never weasel out of being struck.

I see, so I should
not
prioritise +hit items over agility items as I should get my hit from reforging? I see the priority list
Hit under spell cap > expertise under cap >> agility >> mastery >> crit > hit over spell cap > haste
and it seems to suggest I should select a +hit item before a +agility item. Which is how it seems like there are contradictions in advice.
I think I see...

You want to make sure that you have the hit you need, but keep the sacrifice of Agility, which is our best stat, to a minimum.
You only really worry about having to choose agility over a secondary when you are changing ilvl tiers.
Second attempt. I think Soccer said this, but to reiterate:
Every piece of gear allows for a great deal of customization.
Let's say you have a chest piece. You have the option of enchanting it, gemming it, and reforging it.
Agility can be added via the Mighty (15) or Peerless (20) Stats enchant. We want that.
Reforging can't get us agility, but we can add hit/exp, so we dont have to gem for it.
Then gemming brings us to trying to fit in as many Delicate Infernos as possible in.
For instance, my shaman has
Breastplate of Primal Fury
, and I picked up
Tunic of Failed Experiments
last night.
I like the new tunic because of the fact that I still get the same-ish (i lose 4 points) mastery, and trade crit's mediocre help, for a very large amount of hit rating on one piece of gear.
Gemming for the socket nets me 248 hit, and while I reforged the Zandalari one to hit, its still 170 hit rating that I can undo reforges on other pieces of gear. I have a very tight balance on my specific set of gear for the hit/exp caps, so this is welcome, I can stack up more mastery. =D
Hope that made more sense.
Also, fun fact, theres Wowhead user with the name Edit.

For example -
Bloodthirsty Sapphire Necklace
gives me +188 agility so I had that equipped, but on finding
Goldrinn's Locket
I end up not being sure whether +56 Hit rating is better than +188 agility. The locket gives me a better hit rating but less dps...
ps - Thanks for the useful help Greywolfsage.

That's great advice, just what I was looking for. I just found
Skardyn's Grace
in Grim Batol. I also have
Key to the Endless Chamber
which I guess is a better option than
Gear Detector
even if that involves loss of agility? Even if it dosn't actually say what the chance of triggering the big agility buff is.
